  1. Hi guys, you have all been extremely patient about this and I really apologise for the lenght of time this has taken. As you know, I've changed jobs in the meantime and I don't have access to the easy drafting that I used to or the person who used to do the bending of the parts. To top it off, I haven't been able to get the Series II guides tested because A, there's only one person in Melbourne who has a Series II Stag, and B him and I haven't been able to meet up recently because either I've been away or he's been away. Anywho, not your problem, it's mine and I am constantly endevouring to get them finished. I don't believe that the sample I've got now will need to be changed in any way but I don't want to get them made without checking because I have made that mistake before with the GTS-T Series II guides. So, anywho, I have tried calling my Melbourne guy a couple of times this week and have not been able to get a hold of him. I'm still trying. The Series I guys, I'm just trying to get out of the office to drop the guides off at a place that can bend them for me. Sorry again for the delay. Bass Out
  2. Hi Guys. Again, I sorry about the delay. I have not stopped on this bloody project. I took the guides to a plave near here last week and went back a few days later and they then told me they couldn't do it because they are too busy and blah blah blah. So shortly I'm going out to find antother person. I'm also playing with Dezz's car tomorrow. Stay tuned.
  3. The Pinstripes won.!!! that was my idea. Im Teh Best!
  4. Top work Juz!
  5. Yeah, whatever about Hughesy But hey, it's a night of free piss at Frostbites, it's a chance to win a Premier with Candy Apple Paint, Snakeskin interior, but the most important part..... Eclipse Stereo, Sunroof, Satnav, rims, and heaps of other stuff which could quite easily make their way into my car....
  6. If I win, it's coming to Autosalon, it's then going to blow two tyres and a radiator!
  7. Hey ppls. Well, you may well listen to it in the mornings and I've been on Nova a couple of times about it and I finally got tickets to the party! TOPS
  8. My Noms in. And yes, I voted for myself. Bet you can't guess where!!
  9. This is bad. I just hope he's a registered mechanic, otherwise you are going to be a very angry person. But hey, look on the bright side. Broken RB25 = Fresh new RB30!!!
  10. hmmm.... I may be interested in this. Just looking.
  11. Trevor Davis Auto Refinishers or Cheval Body Works, both in Dandenong.
  12. Jeebuz. I just rambled on for bloody ages. Lunch time over, back to work.
  13. I used to travel a shitload. Lets count the airports in Australia Sydney, Adelaide, Darwin, Perth, Queensland, Gold Coast, Hobart, Launceston, Canberra Then there's New Zealand, Noumea three times, Vanuatu twice, America for four days, Thailand for a week, and then 6 days, and the sphincter of the universe for 75 hours (after 50 hours travel) and then I'm sure that there are more. I can tell you which Aussie airports have which hire cars at which companies. I used to travel heaps and mostly day trips around the country and then internationally more than a few times a year. I got over it when I got myself a missus and a house that I was going to spend the rest of my life with. When you are living at home, it's fun, you get away from the olds, you get to be your own man, do whatever. But now, I just want to come home at the end of the day and spend time with my fiance. I don't mind travelling, but a the same time, doing it three times a month started to piss me off at my last job. With the new job, I enjoy it, because I'm not going to see angry customers, only happy ones, so it may well be an attitude thing. Anywho, people who don't travel for work will never understand how tiring it can be. When I go to cool places, it's not like I spend four days looking around. My New Zealand trip for instance. You get a cab to the airport, it looks like any other cab you have ever got in. The airport looks like any other airport. You catch a plane, it looks like any other plane. You land at an airport that looks a lot like the airport you juft left. You hire car, same as taxi at home. You drive to site, work your butt off cos you have a time frame. You go to hotel, guess what, it's part of the same hotel chain as in Melbourne, hence it loks the same. then you get up in the morning, work some more blah blah blah. Drive to next airport, fly down to Christchurch, then to Invercargill. Get picked up from airport by customer, straight to site. Work butt off. Oh, PS, sire looks like any other factory you have ever been in. Go back to hotel, sleep, work, sleep work. Fly back to Christchurch, then back to Melbourne. Catch same cab home. There's 6 days. Fall into bed. Be back at work next morning at 8am, ready to work. But, having said all that, it is a life experience sort of thing. Travelling for work means that when you go on holidays, getting through airports and dealing with strangers all the time becomes easier. You know the basics of everything involved with travelling so nothing and no country is very daunting the first time you go there. So there are plusses and minusses. You gotta do what you gotta do, to get where you wanna be. BASS OUT
  14. I'm looking forward to your graphs from Benno and his tune so I can compare it to my original PFC tune done by somebody else. Make sure to post it, and ask him for a graph that goes up to 210 kph on the x axis. Make it easier for us to compare. BASS OUT
  15. Actually tell him to put as much carbon in the tune as he did with my car. This amount is virtually none at all! He'll know what I'm talking about.
  16. If you are getting it done by Benno then you will not have a single problem in the world. Put in it the fuel you normally use. Drop it off, don't call him, he'll call you. He'll tune it very very well, he's the best. He's the only one who tunes mine.
  17. How about taking a 20 x 20 grid of your before and after ignition and injection numbers. I've done that and it's interesting to compare your before and after results. Make sure your tuner does ALL ranges, not just WOT. The full tune should take a fair while on the dyno. Don't be afraid to tell him to lean out the cruise to about 15:1 and make sure it's lean as buggery so you can get great fuel economy. Make sure he tunes the 1-2-3-4-5-6 cylinders to be a little richer at cylinder 6 than at 1. But yeah, doing a 20x20 grab of your numbers is cool,
  18. You'll find that on many cars these days the only way to get a certain colour is to have it metallic. It's another one of those cheeky money making things by the factory. You can't tell me it costs anymore to spray a car metallic from the factory. I know it costs more for us to buy but we are consumers. A car factory wouldn't be paying a lot to get metallic paint. Anywho. It's harder to keep a solid colour clean I would think as there's no metallic bits to reflect the light, hence dirt appears more and light marks would also show more.
  19. Why not have 0% flake or mica or anything. Smooth as silk, High Gloss black. Simple. Nothing added. Sexy
  20. Yeah, for motokhana applications the ability to have a quick stab of zero (or absolute minimum) front torque to bring the back around is a tops idea. If you look at the Evos when they turn around cones, they almost pivot. I know that some of them have the Motec centre diff controller and they can do similar things. You would want two buttons. On for Maximum and one for minimum front torque. oh, and if you need a car to try it one, we have a couple! BASS OUT
  21. If you want a full spray go MATT BLACK. Uber Tuff. But if you are looking at custom colours, go and see Trevor Davis on Kitchen road in Dandenong. He's done some amazing paint jobs. The one on my bosses R33 GTR N1 is tops!
  22. My car is okay. Why is your Turbs off Matt?
  23. You'll get similar results from both, but I would go Option 1. Because to do the turbo back section later, you have to pull off the whole exhaust again anyway. The Cat is more of a restriction than your stock FMIC. BASS OUT
  24. PowerFC wont work AT ALL with the Auto. You will need an external comp. Talk to AboBob, he's done it.
