  1. Roy. Just set your idle target to like 600rpm. Then close up the idle air control. Done.
  2. When I was in the car, it felt like a slipping senstation. Like if it was a manual, somebody was slipping the clutch a little, several times a second. It's quite strange and not like anything I've felt before. It's not a popping from the plugs, but that doesn't rule them out. Its also definently R&R unless the Stag engine does that 3-4 times a second.... BASS OUT
  3. P-hizzel Did you know that turbos were originally designed for aeroplanes for altitude compensation???? So, yeah. Air Pressure and Density has a lot to do with it. Same idea as cooling the air going into the filter. The lower temp air that goes in there = lower temp air in the plenum after it gets compressed and heate by that compression. BASS OUT PS. I personally witnessed Nismoids car run 369, In fact I watched it run about 4 runs prior to that and each time they increased the timing a little. The only reason his car isn't on the roa right now, is because a worked RB26 is going in. He'll be at the drag day next weekend (we hope) to actually run times. Not talk about charts. BASS OUT
  4. Hey guys. Trust, yep I go your pms. Sorry I haven't replied, I'm totally under the pump at work. I have to apologise for the delay in sending the guide out to you guys, I've been workingg until 7 and 8 pm every night last week. I plan on taking a few hours on Monday or Tuesday night to get them all in bubble wrap and a steel case and get them out ASAP. I really am sorry, I've just been crazy busy. I promise that I'll get them out early next week. My apologies. PS. the extra hole required on the R33 guides will look just like the rest of the guide. It wont look crap or anything. I think I can use a turret punch and manipulate it so that the slots are perfect. BASS OUT
  5. OK Alex and I have gotten together and had a play with the guide. It needs a little work, but not much. I'll be attacking it with an Angle Grinder today and then meeting up with him again super soon. Tomorrow if he's available. BASS OUT
  6. Looks like somebody has been reading up on Autospeed.com
  7. Keep Spraying it with WD-40 until it comes loose Then make sure it's clean and freely moving then get High Temp grease like the stuff you use on Brake Pads. Lubricate mechanism. Job Done.
  8. Did I hear somebody calling my name?
  9. Pics of build or Ban With a 3 Litre bottom end, a big single is okay, but with two twins and a 3 litre bottom end, this could be a monster. A 3 litre Supra over here is making an easy 575 rwkw on twin TD05, so if you are looking for outright power, two turbos are better than one!
  10. Just tested them on Alexcims car, and there are a few mods to make. Not major ones for the moment, just a mod to the little slits at the front and to the bonnet latch bit. I'll do this Monday and test again. BASS OUT
  11. Here are the pics....
  12. Alex, I now have the guide in my office ready for trial fitting.... This Arvo? Tonight? The Weekend?
  13. I thought this would be a great seller. I love the front bar. It look tops.
  14. They are now made. I just have to add the extra little slot over the next couple of evenings and I'll start packing them. WooooWhooo
  15. Gentlemen, be prepared. I am picking up the sample TONIGHT 100%, they are already cut and I'm going to the place to make sure it gets bend correctly. I'll post pics tomorrow. and yes, I'm thinking about R32 GTR, R32 GTS-T and R34 GTR guides. And then there's S13, S14 and S15 guides, and the WRX guides, and then EVO guides, and so and and so forth, forever and ever Amen. Bear with me.
  16. Here they are in my boot!
  17. They are missing a slot for the Bonnet Support clip thingo. I'll be attacking them with an angle grinder (very carefully of course) tonight to remedy the situation. All of the R33 GTS-T guides are done and bent and all looky nicey, and 10 of the 12 R34 GTT guides are done. The GTR and other R34 GTT guides will be cut today along with a sample of the Stagea ones. I'll take some pics at lunch for you. cheers BASS OUT
  18. I"m surely no expert, but I'd think you will make a big improvement by turning that Exhaust cam gear back two teeth to where it should be!

  20. Okay, the guide was cut today, but because of Easter, they haven't been bent. They will be bent on Tuesday and I will pick them up and then I will check against both a Series I and Series II I think the series two with the extra lights will require a section to be cut out of hte scoop, but I'm sure this wont pose too much of a problem. 21. Gents. The guides were cut today, but being the day before Easter, they having been bent. they will be bent first thing Tuesday morning, and I WILL bring them to the meeting Tuesday night.
