  1. You can be red stickered for bald tyres so don't run your mouth.
  2. Get an engineering certificate. Laminate it. Put it in your glove box ??? Profit.
  3. Take it to Unigroup. It sounds like your tuner is guessing, Yavuz does not guess.
  4. I tried hard to get the day off work but can't do it...... next time I'm definitely coming to a track day. I've been itching ever since buying the EVO!
  5. That's on Excelsior ave in Castle Hill, right? So you turned right onto Excelsior from Old Northern rd? Man if you hit that then you were crossing over the double lines. No offence but unless you were being a dickhead or REALLY tired or something I just don't see why you would hit it. To be honest that's the first thing I see when I come around that corner... I drive on that road almost everyday.
  6. Airbox sold. Yeah mate I'll measure the height soon and get back to you...
  7. LOL and he's got the space saver spare tyre on? I'd love to know the reason behind this crash.
  8. For sale r33 stock airbox including all bolts etc. $150 Standard suspension: No idea of condition. $150 Reason: Sold my Skyline. Pickup only, send PM if interested.
  9. This says a lot about where you live.
  10. Did you buy this car 5 years ago, spend $200k on it, but only drive 2, 000km? WTF.
  11. Having no lag is like having no suspense in a movie. BORING!
  12. I know we're not allowed to post pornography but I just had to do it just this once.
  13. So everyone is just pretending this guy isn't La Bomba? hahaha
  14. OK. I've decided to sell my Line. The reason why is very simple. I want an EVO VIII MR. Car details are as follows: Nissan Skyline R33 GTST S2 1997 Model: White Kilometres: 97XXX Mods: Apexi 3" Cat-back (Quiet while still retaining the RB note) 3A Racing Pod Filter BC Racing Coilovers (Purchased about June this year, done <5000km -- perfect working order!) Standard Turbo 17" CR KAI Work wheels - A bit of gutter rash, the bloke who owned it before me couldn't park very well so the front left rims are worse than others, but nothing that can't be fixed! 12" Rockford Fosgate Punch P2 (hella sub, if you like DuB, you will love this sub) Alpine CD/MP3 player Rockford AMP Bypassed the two stage 5/7 PSI mode, constantly on the 7PSI however runs around 8PSI due to the Exhaust anyway. Car history: I bought the car back in February 2010 from a guy in Camperdown. It was his weekend car and because he didn't use it everyday to get to work and he wanted an S15 anyway, he sold it to me with around 83XXX KMs. The car has simply never, ever skipped a beat. I've recently just changed the oil with Motul 4100 Turbolite about <800kms ago. About 6 months ago I also changed every fluid you can think of in the car, radiator, brake fluid, gearbox oil, you name it. The car makes about 162rwkw+ and is perfect for someone who wants to throw mods at it, or just keep it the way it is. The car is located in North West Sydney. PM if you would like to come and see it. Price: $9, 500
  15. http://www.legislati...00+0+N?tocnav=y For those who can't be bothered clicking: "The driver of a vehicle (except an emergency vehicle or police vehicle) must not use a mobile phone that the driver is holding in his or her hand while the vehicle is moving, or is stationary but not parked, unless the driver is exempt from this rule under another law of this jurisdiction." Not sure why it's not commonly known. I find people just come to their own conclusion to which they think is logical.. this appears to be common. Your rights and Police powers are all available for the public to read. Whilst of course it's not expected you memorise every rule, my point is if anyone is interested, it's there for you to read. Just to give a random example. HWP Police are REQUIRED by legislation to tell you that the conversation is being recorded both visually and with audio. That's why they tell you this almost immediately when you are pulled over, they don't just do it to be polite.
  16. Most of the time I don't bother waving as I get the feeling I wouldn't receive one back. However I still have done it sometimes in the past... FYI - Police are exempt from the mobile phone law.
  17. Yet to test drive one. Their are things I don't like about the EVO, one is the interior and the other is the rear... i'd have to throw on an EVO 8 rear end. But if you can go from 160rwkw (which is what mine is making) to 260ish for 3.5k (i'm presuming this figure is a little optimistic?) say 4k. then perhaps it's worth it. and to the guy who said if I sold my GTS-T I wouldn't get half of what's needed for an EVO. assuming I sell mine for $10k and EVO VII's are 20k. It's pretty much bang on half.
  18. How much you spending on your car mate? I'm thinking of doing the same, but I'll probably just go buy an EVO VII instead as I love the twisties.
  19. Well that's something you'll have to take up with the government. Discretion is a big part of Policing, if you don't like that then you're just among the % that don't. The law at times can be very grey and at times can be interpreted differently by different people. Police can only work with what they're given, they are law enforcers, not law creators. It's not Police's fault you receive defects, if you look at the bigger picture here, the government empowers Police to be able to exercise certain powers and expects them to exercise such powers. For example: If you give a 3 yr old a toy car, he's going to make car noises and play with it. He's not just going to stare at it. The same goes for Policing, if you give Police powers, they will use them (correctly and legally, of course). I know when most of you see red and blue lights in your mirror you immediately think but just be polite. It's extremely hard to issue someone with tickets/defects if they're a really nice person. I know you've all got stories of when you were polite and still did, but it can't hurt.
  20. I've had the coilovers since about April with the 8kg/6kg setup. Even whilst all set to soft I find it a pretty harsh ride... but the handling is precise and corners pretty flat. Most people seem to be happy with the ride but on a bumpy road you're going to feel it... The coilovers are best suited to a track rather than the street that's the feeling I get. If you can I'd definitely get slightly softer spring rates.
  21. I'm in the same boat, however I'm thinking of either EVO 7 or 33 GTR... leaning more towards the EVO tbh...
