  1. Yeah that's called murder. Two wrong's don't make a right and before you say self defence. You just said you gave them they keys and then you would stab them in the back. This would imply that they are leaving, therefore, no more threat. No more threat = murder. A car isn't worth your life and it's certainly not worth taking theirs for, either.
  2. To everyone saying "Oh it must be an inside job"; May I just give another opinion on the matter. All it would take is for your uncle to pull into his house and multiple people will see he has not one but two GTRs. And it's not like they have to look very hard for the keys, where do most people put their keys? On the kitchen bench, above the fridge, a key rack, a bowl next to the door, Because cars are becoming increasingly painful to steal without a key, why not just get the key? So in the end, put the keys in your sock drawer.
  3. http://www.yourdailymedia.com/video/watch/12114/ Not American but it still really opens your eyes, how different the rest of the world can be at times... If I shot at someone's tyre because they wouldn't stop I dare say I would lose my job.
  4. I know it's an old thread but I just wanted to show you guys my car.
  5. Not heaps relevant, but unreg is now $516, and uninsured is also $516. and if you're a real smartass, there's a "not pay road tax" which is also $516.
  6. It really sucks to see your property treated in such a way... did it get fingerprinted? I bet you'll be sleeping with your keys under your pillow now, next to the shotgun?
  7. So you're telling me you're retarded? If you don't NOTICE the speed you are doing in a Ford laser you simply shouldn't be on the road. To the OP congrats. But a very insincere one at that, it's a shame that when you f**k up you can go see a Magistrate and put your remorse on paper whilst wearing a suit. In my eyes you did a very silly thing and should have paid for it by losing your license. We have all done silly things and need to take responsibility for them. All that magistrate did was show more and more people that when they screw up all they have to do is put bullsh*t on paper and they'll get let leniency or completely let off. It's quite frustrating to see this happen, but unfortunately this is all too common place.
  8. If they have one, it would have most likely have been given to them by Nissan. Some stations have an RX-8, but it was just given to them by Mazda. You can't perform any real duties in it apart from taking it to a promo/fair event for kids etc. Pics would be good.
  9. My car is 160rwkw with only a cat-back. If it didn't have it I'd say it would have about 15-20rwkw less. I'd say it would be 'around' that figure.
  10. Seriously just drive home back to Vic dude. If you get spoken to again by Police, inform them that you can't clear the defect in NSW. If they want to defect you again, just go along with it and continue driving back to Vic. Just explain the situation calmly, piss them off and you're likely to get your car towed. Either way you know they're wrong and nothing will come of it.
  11. Silver R32 GTR James Ruse Drive around 6:45pm
  12. Hi Labomba. Pretty sure you were told Wasteland only...
  13. Item: Rockford Fostage 6x9's (Punch) series. info: These were $600+ new a couple of years ago, I bought these to go into my line... but 6x9's don't fit! Price: $150 Item: Sanyo Double DIN Jap head unit Info: Came with the car when it was imported from Japan. It has TV, DVD, Sat NAV, MP3's. However being Australia, only the MP3's and DVD's work. Works perfectly. My missus bought me a new head unit for my birthday because she likes to listen to the radio, which you can still do with this head unit, however it will require some tweaking. Pretty sure it has 2x pre outs. Price: $120
  14. Yeah I have to angle the car over big speed humps. Can't park the car in the garage otherwise the exhaust scrapes, because to enter the garage I have to drive up a small hill, then it levels out, as it levels out, it'll scrape. Those sloping gutters I haven't tried them yet, I don't like my chances

  17. Man it could have been anyone, lots of crooks firstly have their own reasons for stealing a car. Steal car -> go do break and enters through the night / ram raids Steal car -> rebirth Steal car -> joy ride If I had to guess which one they took the RVR for, it would be re birthing. The crooks probably already have bought a write off RVR at an auction, and what they'll do is strip your friends one and put all the gear into the written off one. Then they'll sell it, and because they stole your mates car. Their only offset is the price they paid for the write off at auction. . You keep talking about as if you have an idea of who it is, why is this? "word comes down the chain"; "small number of people would do it" If someone stole it, they last thing they're going to do is just lock it and leave it on the side of the street.
  18. Not even third party fire and theft? It's like $300-400. Sucks that it got stolen mate, I hope he gets it back. But having no insurance is like gambling with over $30k. As I said, sucks that it got stolen. However if it's going to be stripped for parts, the window is very small to catch the thief.
  19. The only things I've heard is bad. I wouldn't put that much faith in anything I couldn't see, touch, inspect and drive myself... I hope you don't get bitten.
  20. Can't speak for Townsville. But in NSW, Police will only come to accidents if the following happens. # Driver/VEH involved in an accident and fails to stop to give details # Driver just not wanting to give details # Any vehicle needs to be towed # Anyone is injured # You suspect that the other party is under the influence of drugs/alcohol. So If Police turn up and booked the guy. Then they are going to create an 'incident'. So there's no reason why they wouldn't give the number out. I can't see why any other state wouldn't adopt this principal also, but I've been wrong before. Anyone involved in any incident, they're entitled to the event number if one is created. / NSW Who told you that Police won't give out an incident number unless a driver is injured? Makes no sense. edit: @OP: How old are you and what's your history? Amy, NRMA, all the major insurance companies want some ridiculous amount of money like $4k, however JustCar only wants around $1500 for full comp... tried them?
