  1. All this talk of sealant then wax...I was advised only to use o e or the other not both.. Have down a few cars now, cut, polish, wax..I stopped using the sealant and just go straight on with any good carnuba wax and they come up magnificent with Thick wet glossy finishes.. but those tiny little scratches you see close up in The reflection still illude me..Im wondering would a good wool pad help fix these..?
  2. GKtech have a new billet bar for 99$.. though china jobs from.ebay work fine too for as little as 50$ removing globe is simple as undoing a few screws and the dash face pops out..

    I Need Help

depends what state you are in....In some it is legal but it still has to be joined into your normal exhaust
  5. Is that the s15 that hit Hamish's car ?
  6. yeah I think those hiflows are usually only good for 250 in ideal conditions anyway, maybe a little more with OP6...so in an auto 230 is about all I would expect... I dont think you are too far off target...temps do seem high though... how much boost are you running?
  7. oh just read air to water cooler...any reason for that setup...got any pics of it...just for interests sake
  8. My skyline with stock airbox runs 30-40 and as low as 25 with a cheap ass cooler mounted next to the radiator...weird huh... It might be hotter on hot days i haven't checked..but its usually just over ambient by 5-10 degree...my cat was the same size as yours too while my bt50 ute runs anywhere from 50-70 all day everyday I had one of those GCG hiflows before and i swear it used to get hot too..it was making about 240kws at 19psi... i assume yours is auto though.. I wasn't measuring temps but it just felt sloppy after some spirited driving like the intake charge was getting too hot and I blamed the turbine housing.. I had a 21u housing not op6...not sure which you have,..what intercooler do you have??
  9. nah its all over the compressor housing..i'd say major blowby issue more like it..someones been flogging its guts out doing burnouts, the heads been filling up with oil (common RB problem) and spewing it out the breather pipe attached to your cam cover and back in the intake...maybe a loose clamp there or something as well ... clean it off, check clamp is tight...check again in a week...get a simple oil catch if you intend to keep driving it this way
  10. i know STATUS was to be trialing these a while back though don't remember seeing any results posted....I know he had them on his bench your links a dud too mate...
  11. Go see Matt at ALPHA panels in seaford...fixed mine up alright... not sure how you spin out on a roundabout unless your trying to do skids around the thing but anyway..GL
  12. famous last words...see you in 10K...GL
  13. im guessing it was nowhere near that cool...
  14. you could of picked stock injectors up dirt cheap
  15. then you need to nistune but really what is the point of bigger injectors if its a stock turbo,,,none
  16. Yeah I tried to stand on it when you weren't looking yesterday... It moved True story.
  17. needs some black and white slimline plates...and a better photographer do I spoto a black zed?
  18. yeah...not convinced...have tried some other "conditioners" and wasn't overly impressed...But i will shut my mouth until I try this stuff you speak of
  19. Oh now I get it.. Even if you bought the exact same turbo you would have to take the tune in for a check anyway because you have changed other things like the exhaust, intercooler etc. So you may as well factor that into your budget and talk to your tuner first.. But if you jget any other hiflow a retune shouldnt cost 6-800...cause it is already tuned...you would just be getting a "touchup" tune which shouldn't cost more than a couple hundred..Dependant what tuner you go to of course...some will charge you 800 just to walk in the door...others a little more realistic
  20. oh yeah i should probably thank Scott for all his awesome fabrications too....
  21. so is Armourall .....and yeah, tyre shine works as well
  22. yes I'd also like to thank Scott,Craig and Alex for getting me drunk, stoned, feeding me wasabi and not telling me there was pizza on my face when I was chatting up the receptionist.. All the night before a track day, then laughing at me when I somehow went flying off the track on my second lap following the directions they gave me the night before Thanks Guys, hopefully we do it again some day
  23. asif use a pump...pour it like a man..with no funnel.. or fuly automated like this if you own a honda {that drum cost me 150...my ute is 80 for 10l...if the rating is right on the gulf would be great} but seriously why you need a pump..usualy they come with a little tap you screw in the bottom....i got stacks of taps if you need em 120$ is a bargain tho..is it SN rated...or CI what number??
