  3. yeah, I just realized the joiner i had was too short, the longer ones are less restrictive But, dont matter Ive just been advised by a workshop that they burn out quickly and its more trouble than its worth and i should ditch it...
  4. so planning my dump setup was thinking I should put a flexi joint in at the base of the dump.. So I picked up a 3 inch flexi joint but the inside of it looks like its only about 2.5 inches. Surely this could easily be a restriction straight after the turbo right? i know its a good idea to put them in to help stop exhaust vibration but is there a better way. i have a twin front pipe so cant really put it anywhere else.. Any ideas folks
  5. yeah the url..thats what its called

  8. but what did you convert from.. i mean does it have 5x the grip of an already good setup or was yoursetup all wrong in the first place...
  9. it is 100% driving for sure, i dont know why people think I am knocking the driving..its brilliant thats why I posted the clip I posted originally.... As for climb dance well yes its great but, there is also other guys doing the same thing that never made it to video cause it wasnt as readily available in the day My only arguement was that there was alot of production involved in the making the video... Someone made the arguement that Ken Block vids are all about production, but comeon he can drive bloody good...
  10. oh, So this was probably nothing to do with you then..
  11. whats BSA stand for... I just saw a Car with BSA racing stickers on it...
  12. mustang anybody
  13. I went past this place the other day and they actually had a late model camaro, not the new ones but the older pointy nose ones and they had grafted a 69 front and rear onto it ..couldnt find it on the net but i did find this.. definatley different..
  14. pffft...doesnt matter, R35 may be faster but the camaro is still cooler, so is the supra .
  15. Man...you so crazy....
  16. thats great to hear..and changes weren't to drastic.. man those tyres look fat on the rims..might have to invest in some I'm tossing up between the bridgestones or dunlops..
  17. is that John?? gets along quite nicely anyway...
  18. from memory the studs from an ea falcon manifold do the trick..any exhaust shop will have some new ones laying around.. just pop one out and take it to them, ask for a longer one..thats all I did anyway..
  19. well on that note the video I posted was 100% talent with 0% production The thing that was revolutionary about Climb Dance was not the driving at all. It was more that on board cameras were somewhat unheard of in the day, that is what is great about the video. Plenty of people were racing up the then gravel mountain. But knowing that someone went to alot of trouble to capture all that footage, in decent quality was a big deal for its time, there is alot more than 20% production involved in the making of it..there was hours and probably months of planning setting up expensive onboard and roadside camera setups etc to show people what a run up the Peak was really like.. These days anyone can produce a short film of equal or even better quality.. You can simply cable tie your phone to the car and video edit random roadside utube clips for a better result than Climb Dance ever achieved..
  20. LOL..you never heard of paint.. my advice would be to just spill more oil everywhere so at least its all the same colour..
  21. or just run a screamer
  22. good read none the less..
  23. still squeals bad when cold, but seems alright after that
  24. yes I've watched climb dance...it was ok...for its time... but boring in comparison when we have Ken Block gymkhana style vids to watch these days.. Sorry mate, but reality check says 900hp in a 1 tonne chassis is never boring..
