  1. weld a nipple on or use one of the inlet manifold ports...
  2. that time of month again Jas
  3. I'm with rolls buy a new truck..old fourbys are just deathtrap money pits all over... 220nm is rubbish..my bt50 puts out over 400nm and its just a 2.5lt..so either put money towards a newer generation of diesel.....or for 5 grand you could by a patrol with an rb30 already in it and save the headache, as a bonus you will then have a pile of spares any old patrol owner will inevitably need...otherwise must stick a plain old rb30 in it so you don't waste any more money ..
  4. oh 8000rpm wow...i thought it would.of dropped off earlier than that..
  5. Just shift earlier...higher gear means higher mph ...shift where power drops off on the dyno..or if power isn't dropping off to after 7k raise your limiter and shift at 7k..in my car power dies around 6500 so that's when I aim to shift... Good on you for getting it out there.
  6. Let me.guess your floorpan fell out...damn street racers
  7. i love dropping little chirpies on hill starts...or any start for that matter no handbrake starts ever ftw...
  8. yeah its definitely liveable but takes a little getting used to as its not like a "normal" clutch...once you know how to use it its fine... It could give the shits if you sat in bumper to bumper freeway traffic everyday though.. but doing that in your Skyline is an insult to your car anyway...
  9. yeah i'm a little confused too Roy, the date on the paper is same date I got mine tuned yet neither graph looks to be mine, as mine seems to fall somewhere inbetween the pink and blue....its actually closer to the pink but with a bit more boost and im topping out earlier..Im wondering if the standard manifold is helping create a little more torque in my midrange as well.. and why is Staos car 10kms slower at 6060rpm?? the times also dont match, maybe an earlier tune than my final been used or maybe my tune with a high mount got a different result I dunno......obviously I dont yet fully understand the intricacies of dyno tuning but I daresay the small differences we see are just mechanical.....i was also running a 3.5 ex and screamer at time of tune..it has all been plumbed back now.. I think its fair to say the manifold has made some difference. But, it is also fair to say Staos new wheel can definitely pump more boost and power than mine ever could as other cars with the sl2 and high mount haven't made that much power that I know of and usually die out around 20psi... the fact he is making more power even though the boost is dropping off a good 3 psi has to say something about its performance... unfortunately I'm unemployed and going back to school, so too strapped for cash (read missus will kill me if she sees me spend money on that car) to try it atm but it would be good too do as I think it would be an improvement..got any work Stao maybe I could do some deliveries or wash and detail your car or something, cause technically a fair trade is not spending money on my car right..at least thats what I tell the wife.?
  10. Lol..i don't know but I actually used to build mattress in a factory and the best warranty they would do is 15 years..
  11. How about an "oops" thread Luke....I would start the ball rolling but stuck on my phone
  12. Not that anybody cares but.... " the average Australian buys a new bed once every 17 years.. Though it is recommended your bed should be replaced every ten at the most..." Least that's what the experts at the furniture shop tell me...
  13. Pretty sure my skyline wouldn't get of the line...just sit there and dig holes...my utes much the same actually
  14. haha...he definately puts on a good show....im still waiting to see how that sportage works out...whats happened to that Stao?
  15. ARTZ

    R33Jet Is No More =(

    like.....totally !!!
  16. yes very tempted....looks i can only gain it definately has more top end and loses nothing anywhere else its asking alot of my stock manifold, though in theory i could make the same power I do now with a little less boost...
  17. Definately looks like it handles more boost better hey...
  18. I'm confused stao but the pink line looks just like my car
  19. removed when i was 8...so never since then but it is recurring usually and after 8 times or something you can opt to take them out....get it done...my missus spent all last year fighting tonsilitis and its a motherf**ker (she was also fighting pneumonia at the same time to make life hard ) every month or so it would come back .. anyway she finally got them out and has been great ever since...
  20. stop trying to talk him out of it...be the guinea pig be the guinea pig be the guinea pig
  21. The 400kw carbotic is a little bitey at times...its soft as to the foot... But can be a little temperamental on take off and when reversing into tight spots and such...using it everyday Could get annoying in traffic could get annoying...I reckon the organic would cover you. if it was a racecar I'd say carbotic but I doubt your setup will get over 330kw and your not racing it hard yet so that organic should see you fine for a long time..
  22. YEEHAWW!!! its a good ol' fashioned paddock bash....that needs a cams License smooth grass will last about 2 minutes before its ripped to shreds yeah maybe I should I bring the work ute...probably got more grunt than an old MG anyway..??
  23. do it...i wanna try it...
  24. oh yes...i drank a bit yesterday... my car is not a barge ass
  25. Haha...dafuq..Max boost 15psi.....someone bolt one on now...please....
