  1. They definitely do, and there have been some real stunners over the years. I remember one ep where they interviewed the guest, and i can't even remember who it was because of the chick standing behind them haha
  2. Top gear is apparently the most downloaded show in the world, and 350 million viewers worldwide watch it every week. You'll prolly find a copy steve-o Vettel came across like a decent guy on TG, made it hard to hope for him to crash out this weekend
  3. I too am keen to hear this, how is it to drive?
  4. One is 5w40 the other is 10w40. All this info is in the last few pages mate, maybe have a read over them? I do usually agree with you mate, but what is it I'm not getting? I do the filter up hand tight, not as tight as i possibly can but still pretty tight, smear plenty of old oil on the seal. And when I go to undo it probably have a bit of oil on the hand/fingers from undoing and catching the sump plug, and shockingly the thing doesn't want to come off. The nut means that when it doesn't want to come off you whip out a spanner rather than drying everything off and trying again by hand. You are right though, I am probably overtightening it and I am not an expert, but i sure as hell wouldn't want to put it on to loose. The filter with the nut just makes it easier, we all know that it can be hard to undo things on cars from time to time.
  5. Is this still for sale mate?
  6. whoops double post
  7. difference is 5w and 10w
  8. Bahahahahaha!!! Do we know what happened? Has anyone from renault confirmed/acknowledged that it was the kers?
  9. Good to hear it's all fixed champ. If you google the make and model of the ebc you might find a digital manual online
  10. Hahaha yeah, i have left a lot of knuckle skin under there. Until i found this old tool like... this Which defeats oil filters with help of a socket set lol
  11. Hmmmm, probably not many people voting the nissan badge as the best looking of all time haha
  12. ^ I do agree with that, it'd be what I'd buy. Relevent clip?
  13. I had foxtel for 3 years, and though I did enjoy having more shows to watch, there's an unimaginable amount of crap that's played too. I'd say the ratio of shit to good stuff is the same as tv, but with more overall channels foxtel gets more decent shows (when you find them). I'd get it again for f1, and if the coverage was better wouldn't complain. I do like the current commentators. Two ex-gp drivers just have so much knowledge and info and stories to share.
  14. Lol, yes because schumacher is known for being so timid in those situations! At what point will someone else get a seat with mercedes. Reckon Ricciardo could bring it to Rosberg? Hamilton doing that meant he got past button, chose to pit and lost the race. He also got a penalty, not his finest split second decision. Was bad for the rest of us too though because vettel finished ahead of him
  15. It definitely looks good. How secure is it though birds, I'm guessing you've never had any trouble? Does it feel like the safety latch will protect against a wayward stone flying up under the car? I've only ever done filters up hand tight and only ever managed to undo one or two by hand (of a couple of dozen changes at least). Having that leverage/grip makes it so much easier. Though you can always just stick a screw driver through it (never done it myself but have been tempted). Isn't 4100 turbolight usually a fair bit cheaper than that? Seeing as 8100 is usually $75-80?
  16. Bahahahahaha very true
  17. ^hmm there used to be pics for that, still very useful though. If you're keen for some pics have a look in the diy forum, there might be a newer version.
  18. Drift do on their filters too, I once picked up 3 drift filters for $20 each from autobarn on sale, was very happy. It's worth keeping a look out for oil and filter sales and stocking up. Oil change diy, follow this and you'll be sweet. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/10035-my-first-skylines-guide-to-changing-your-oil-and-oil-filter-in-an-r33/
  19. If ls1 engined commodores have chev badges, shouldn't rb30 vl's have nissan badges? My hardcore commo loving friends did not like that question lol.
  20. Bahahahaha that is a huge pod!!!!!! Congrats on the effort guys
  21. If the lights are coming on after a reset then it's a new fault code. You can detect the fault codes using this http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/266512-reading-nissan-fault-codes-ecu-fault-codes-how-read-them/ but I'm guessing it's the usual ones. You can also reset using that above, which is way easier than playing with the battery. Are you sure everything was plugged back in after the plugs and coilpacks were changed? The boost controller may be the cause of some of these problems. Did you install it yourself?
  22. Might not sound/feel as nice though Roberto, the guys above are all dead right. I've never read a bad word about motul 8100 or 300v. But you can experiment with oils, see what you like. Just change every 5000km and you're sweet (some oils may last up to 10000km, your call on that). On filters, I seem to remember buying k&n filters for $22. k&n are a fairly well known brand, the filter is almost certainly going to be better than ryco or nissan, and for a couple of dollars more I thought it was worth it. Also, and MOST importantly, it has a nut on the end so you can use a spanner to take the filter off when it's time for a change
  23. Great race, awesome win for button!! 2 dnf's in a row and still only 12 points behind hamilton. It's not all about overtaking lol, hamilton is good to watch though. Also good to see the mclaren boys overtake eachother without incident, they do it all the time. RBR could really learn something from that. Gotta say though, it's all tainted by vettel coming second. He's effectively increased his lead over the chasers. They all have to finish ahead of him for anyone to have a chance this season That's partly because noone likes to see someone walk away with the championship, esp after so many years of good fights! I'm hell keen for that, let us know if you find a server
  24. When you floor it above 4.5k rpm what does the boost get to? I thought mine was normal till I found out 12 psi isn't normal lol. Should be round 7-8psi, or round 0.5 kg/cm^2 which I think is the unit on the gauge. Would be surprised if the gap was the issue on the 0.8 gapped plugs.
  25. Bahahahaha very very funny. But seriously, I don't think everything is okay at home
