  1. Matt's R33 has 299rwkw, I think Clints is about the same, and Joels's R32 will certainly exceed that when finally tuned, David's R33 has around 260rwkw, etc etc. There are plenty of others around too. The trouble you will have is traction. I think Matt with 299rwkw has only done a 12.2x run so far, as he can't get the power down. Sounds like a beast - nice buy! Sorry to tell you though, you will be looking at an easy $2,000 to stock it out for Regency then get your goodies put back on The prices for any performance workshop to even touch your car will blow your mind.
  2. hehe @ Ash, but you got it wrong - beauty is in the eye of the BEERholder - especially after a few too many at the pub and the beer goggles go on But yes, in my humble opinion they still are some damn ugly wheels! Each to their own - if you love them coastlife that is all that matters. If everyone liked the exact same things it would be a damn boring world.
  3. gotta agree Ash - ewwwwwwww. Thanks for figuring out the link
  4. OUCH - I thought a Stagea with any kind of mods would be plenty faster than that!
  5. Cool Matt, glad to hear it went well. Can't wait to catch up! Also can't wait to give Kim's Starlet a run - she might have to give me a head start though
  6. glad to hear you're in Matt! Hope your wisdom teeth went well. I assume Kim will come too?
  7. I think that pic of the glowing Syline insignia was "Boostd's" from memory. That car moved to the Eastern states and is now dead. Anyone confirm whether or not it was Matt's?
  8. Due to underwhelming demand/interest and more significantly a clash of dates with diggity's birthday, I have cancelled this event. Sorry guys. Andrew
  9. ok event cancelled. I have amended the original post. Sorry, but it was just not to be.
  10. yep of course I'd be in too!
  11. Who is dead keen on this event happening? Turns out it is Diggity's Birthday and I am supposed to be going to the Slug and Lettuce for his b/day. So I meed to know ASAP who is absolutely keen for the LAN/Lost/GT4 thing at my place, else I am going to cancel it to go to Diggity's thing (along with other SAUers). Make sense? Please vote ASAP!!
  12. As discussed in another post, who is up for a Grand Prix style go-karting event at Richmond Kart Mania on Sat. 7th May 7pm? (fyi they only do the Grand Prix meets after 7pm). This date is available at Richmond, but Gepps Cross is fully booked out, unless we did it on the Sunday afternoon. We can have up to 24 people, but need a minimum of 8. Would be a proper Grand Prix style meet with qualifying etc and trophy for the winner. OK a mini-cruise has been suggested for late arvo, then have early dinner and arrive at Richmond Kart Mania for 7pm. Who's also keen on this? Cost will be $40 each. So who is in? Attendees: Me MattR, Leroy, Greg Cillham Cubes + Julie 4door_Sleeper Maxx gtrGhosTDoGG11 thirtythree-II +2 Oosh Joolz, Jaffa Sambo33 whatsisname John & Erica Bl4cK32 nozila + 1
  13. Prestige Motor Body Repairs at 226A Bridge Rd, Pooraka 8260 2724 painted and fitted my kit. Reasonable prices and ok quality - not absolutely fantastic but pretty good. I don't know the price as it was a part insurance job with other things too. I think he quoted around $700 to paint, with fitting only a bit extra.
  14. hehe that was put out as bait for you Tim I can tell you wouldn't want c0cks like him hanging about.
  15. frog_stompR31 - I think maybe you should find another forum that is more at your intellectual and maturity level. Isn't there an R31 specific club you can join?
  16. we here at SAU don't condone that sort of behaviour anyhow - if you wanna do that stuff go to nissansilvia.com with all the other little boy drifters! :chairshot:
  17. OMFG - you joined our forum to sell an essentially non-Jap car??? WTF??? This is definitely NOT the trading post mate!
  18. You can find my pics here (click)
  19. it's a kit style/manufacturer. My kit is a Vertex
  20. me neither .... you soft milk-intolerant people
  21. I disagree mate - I have heard of tons of horror stories - including my own when I tranferred my near stock MX6 from NT to SA rego. It massively depends on the mood of the assessor. There are hundreds of stories of ppl being told to fix 1 thing and come back - only for them to find 10 more things when they go for a final inspection. Dean had his car complied, then got defected for something so took it to Regency again, and it came off defect. Then he got defected again later on and took the car to Regency and they told him he had to have 'chassis bends' fixed. Now these were caused by a forklift in Japan when originally loading the car before he bought it. So the vehicle had gone through Regency twice already and they never picked it up, but the last time they just wanted something to ream his ass, so they picked up the fault and he had to get it fixed. FYI williamF1 - they will almost certainly make you personally remove the tint at Regency and won't let you drive it anywhere. They handed me a blade and told me to do it on the spot
  22. yeah was an awesome day, thanks for those that came along! Bit sore and sorry for myself after being squeezed in those little go-karts, but you get that Great to meet so many new faces!!! Yes Joel, I think our next event will be a proper go-karting session at Kart Mania with qualifying and grid races etc. We will do it soon, before the weather gets too bad and closes the outdoor section of the tracks. Anyone got ideas for dates? The whole of April is written off for me, but what about Sat. May 7th or something like that? I think the Gepps Cross track is the best and is most local for most of us, but am always open to a vote.
  23. yeah the few unique cars there made it worth the trip!
  24. ahhh wtf? You are going to bail because of a little bit of rain????? It will clear up! And we will be taking it extra easy on the cruise if the roads are wet anyhow.
