I think entry normally closes end of Jan, but you can enter after if you pay an exorbitant late fee (if memory serves me correctly). It is handicapped 'dial-your-own' racing, and I think it is first round elimination best of 3. So you are really racing your break-out time, as well as the guy next to you. You get a heap of practise runs before-hand, which is a massive buzz in front of sooooo many people! Just don't do like I did last year and blow your clutch on your 2nd run for the day

As far as I'm aware, there are NO negative effects to upgrading your fuel pump, no matter what your mods. However if you don't upgrade your fuel pump and lean out under high load/boost/rpm, then your motor goes bang. I think it's a pretty easy equation to work out

if you aren't after it urgently, I will be selling my (1 year old) Bosch 040 out of my S15 in under a months time. I have bought a new Walbro pump, as it uses the factory pickup, which is better when you have under 1/4 tank of fuel. So I will be selling mine if you can wait. Otherwise I'll find out a current new price for you.

Nah, that's it - I am going to can the idea (for this month anyways). Seems there is not enough interest for me to go put the money down for a deposit, so maybe we'll postpone until next month. Also, I am very keen to go to the drags if John is going to run!! So, dinner Saturday night is CANCELLED - I suggest we make it the front bar of the Bombay Bicycle club (then I don't have to pay a deposit and we're not limited to how many people can come either) Saturday 5th March. Is everyone cool with that? We will go to the drags this Saturday night instead, and have an impromptu SAU dinner at AIR from the dodgy steak and chips vans
