  1. nah can't tonight - some of us are heading out to the drags at AIR .... I can't believe you aren't heading out to the drags for a look too Troy! I saw most of the cars this arvo on a cruise in the city ... some very nice marques indeed!!!
  2. fortunately Mick has left Tilbrooks and headed back to Qld ....
  3. From sight it looks like the distance is identical. I had alook at a mate's R33 as he has his oil cooler in the guard. Looks very similar to mine. I will try to get my S15 on a hoist and double check. I take it the hose comes as one long length and you cut to suit and attach the end nuts? Can you get a 3m length of braided line just in case?
  4. hey Steve, I had the same problem .... I bought my ProfecB from an Australian guy in Japan called Japandy. Tilbrooks installed it and it did the same thing as yours - would not limit boost it just kept climbing. So I got Japandy to send me another solenoid and it did exactly the same thing. So I got him to send me another head unit and it did EXACTLY the same damn thing!!!! Mark from Tilbrooks had a heap of different people have a look at it, but they all said it was hooked up right. So they sent the 2 head units and 1 solenoid to James at D1 and he said they both worked perfect on the bench, holding and releasing pressure. I gave up, and bought a new Hybrid EBC. George from GT Autosound was installing my Hybrid, and he said he couldn't get it to work - it would just skyrocket the boost!!! SAME DAMN THING!!! He said, he switched a couple of the wires around, and it works perfect. He said the wiring was mixed up from the factory (wrong colour wires) - and the ProfecB would have worked fine if the wires had been switched around. Not sure if this story helps, but maybe you have the same problem?
  5. I know this might be a very dumb question, but can you get some sort of adapter plate and drive shaft adapter to bolt this to an S15/200SX SR20? Anyone know about doing this?
  6. Can you please find out if u can definitely get the kit to suit an S15/SR20? If so I want to order one please. I guess we need 4 more people to join in order to get the 20% discount? Cmon people!!! These kits are cheap as chips, and they massively increase the life span of both your oil AND your engine!!!
  7. I think there will be a fair few spare. Matt is gonna order extra and any he can't sell at cost to SAU members, I'm sure he will sell for a substantial profit on Ebay. He has left for Moomba, for at least the next 3 weeks. Not sure if he is coming back for a break after that, but I'm pretty sure the bikes won't be ordered/delivered before then. Hold tight, they are definately coming, I'm just not positive when. He is trying, as we speak, to set up satellite internet from Moomba, so I'm sure he will pop up on here sooner or later and post some info.
  8. try: Adelaide Jap Dismantlers at Holden Hill 4 Brothers Imports at Clearview JMS at Wingfield there are tons of others too
  9. I have a spare ProfecB head unit u can borrow (but no solenoid), if that helps. I also have a bleed valve lying around if you want something else to try.
  10. pick a style, get the money to me, and I'll do a group order in the next week or 2. Still negotiating a price with the supplier.
  11. he does Pie, but it is a minimum of 10 pieces and costs US$500 delivered. I am still negotiating a good deal for us. I am going to have to get payment upfront. PM me if you want to come give me cash (I am in Northgate - near Oakden), or I'll give you my bank details. The only issue is GST or customs .... hopefully we don't get taxed at all, but we have to be prepared in case we get stung. I would think it would be an absolute maximum of $10 - per unit, but I guess we would have to cross that bridge when/if we came to it. I don't think it would be a problem though. At under $35 I think these things are an absolute bargain!!! Check out how much similar signs sell for locally on Ebay or the Beer Gear shop - you will be surprised how expensive they really are!!
  12. I have seen this guy on Ebay for bloody ages and a couple of friends have bought through him and say the product is very good. Items are likethis (click). But the guy has literally hundreds of different designs (have a look at his other items for sale). The catch is you buy the item for 1c, but the postage is US$29.99 - so for US$30 (around $40) you get one of these damn cool signs. But, he has stipulated that if you buy 5, then the cost is US$130.04 (about $171 or around $34.20 each). So, I will have 2 at this price, is anyone else interested on some? The designs range from beer ads to sporting teams to pictures/murals (from what I remember seeing previously). I like these ones in particular: Dolby digital, another Duff, and Coke, Guinness, PS2 etc etc Obviously if we could get more numbers, I'm sure he would slash the price even further!! By the way, they are fully compatible with our power, the easiest thing to do is cut off the 2 prong plug (I think it is a HK type plug), buy a cheap-ass extension cord, cut the end off it, and solder the wires together. Easy. But I will be wall-mounting my units, and running the power leads straight into the roof and hard-wiring them to switches. So who wants one/some? They would even be very cool as a night light in your bedroom or shed!!!
  13. yep I'm up for a group buy on slotted rotors if you can find a supplier willing. Anyone else?
  14. yep, put me down for a grey GTR
  15. I had my new manifold done by PowerKote a couple of months ago. Cost $200 for the silver over black coating. They no longer have the peeling problem, as they use a different technique. Call Laurie on 8354 2066 - 6 Reese Ave, Richmond.
  16. it may not be mainstream "brand-name", but check out how many large Japanese tuning workshops and racing teams are using these coolers!
  17. Damn! love the article about half way down about the vigilante group destroying speed/red light cameras - sounds like a good idea.
  18. yep, count me in too
  19. yeah, ya tool .... support the stolen car racket - good idea Einstein.
  20. the one I had a look at was at "Inspect a Gadget" (or some name like that) on Poole Ave, Klemzig. It was the owners own bike (that is kept out the back), but he used to sell them. Not sure if it is the same as the ones Matt's getting. Some guy (maybe from JMS) had one he was riding at the Drift day - I think MattR knows him?
  21. I had a look at one at a local PC shop and it was BLOODY TINY. I would have no chance whatsoever of riding it. Wicked little things though - tons of fun and top value at that price!!!
  22. can you get the sandwich plate/kit to suit an S15 SR20?
  23. can you get them for 6 speed S15s?
