yes that was certainly one of the scaries moments I have had in a car ..... luckily we were on MacIntyre Road and there was a lane to spare, otherwise we'd have been toast. I obviously didn't buy it after that experience.

I had a look at it just 20 minutes ago at Tilbrooks .... definitely one of the nicest 34s I have seen - on par with John's old one.

looks like the photos were taken here at Wayville Showgrounds, with the Truckworks tow truck in the background of one pics, and a GTS Monaro with SA plates in another pic. Hi, I am after a Greddy Profec B solenoid only. (The older black unit style). Anyone know of someone who has a Profec B blown up or stolen, and still has the solenoid and/or wiring? Please PM me or email andrewn@escdotnetdotau (anti-spam replace the dot's with .'s). I am also after a couple of n/a 60mm S14 throttle bodies. They have to be off an n/a S14, as they are physically bigger then the turbo models. Cheers Andrew

I haven't got a Skyline, but rather it's little brother - an Australian delivered S15/200SX 60' 1.912 330' 5.392 660' 8.210 mph 87.53 1000' 10.670 ET 12.741 MPH 109.01 running 195rwkw, 80% worn Bridgestone Potenza RE540S (street tyre) at 20psi tyre pressure, 2001 S15 SR20, standard turbo, manual bleed valve at 15psi boost and full street trim (including spare, sub-box, tools etc.).

Lachlan/anyone else: are exhaust cams a big benefit to a car without cams or extractors? I have heard a couple of schools of thought and it seems that if they really did give a little more power but more importantly made the turbo spool up to 500rpm earlier, then EVERYONE would have done this very cheap mod. I am looking to have it done on the essfideen and want your thoughts. Andrew

And as for the 'there will be a defect station here, here and here' .... just look at what DIDN'T happen at drift day (which was supposedly going to be defect city) - I only saw 1 copper all the way home - and he had pulled over a commondore

I had been very happy with Morpowa until recently. Last service they put the wrong spark plugs in my 200SX making it blow spark when on boost (which I replaced with $100 worth of Platinums after they fouled in about 50km), they charged me like a wounded bull for the service and to top it all off the nearly $3,000 dodgy twin plate clutch I got off them almost 3 months ago still isn't fixed or replaced, and it seems like they don't want to get off their asses and fix an obviously ****ed clutch. I last spoke with them about 2 weeks ago and haven't heard back about a solution. Doesn't seem like they are at all keen to save pride/face and get it fixed in a hurry. A couple of other performance places that have had a quick look at it and a drive were actually embarrassed for Morpowa, having shoddy work like that unfixed. Hopefully soon they can fix it and I will actually be able to drive my car without almost stalling it every time I pull up to the lights. Tilbrooks are fantastic - can't say enough good things about Mark and the boys. Except that they are alwasy so darn busy - but I guess that's a sign of a great workshop. /end rant

1st person refereees are the best thing in business - it is a pity more businesses don't remember this when doing shonky deals - good and bad deals get around the traps REALLY quickly in this fair land of ours. Hats off to Nengun for the positive comments!

yeah the karts at Gepps Cross are pretty crap - some of them go WAY better than others .... and the one I had last weekend had a very crappy right hand turning circle - so much so that it couldn't even make the hairpin r/h turn 2 corners before you come onto the start line, without getting the back end out!
