Is anyone interested in a group buy on CB Radios? Check these out :CBs on Ebay .... anyone want to go halves with me in buying these? Or do more people want them and I'll ask the guy if he will do a group buy. We've all said at some stage on a cruise that we wish we all had CBs to warn of 'obstacles' etc. These seem to be a very good price.

I'm coming out too .... but not to race this time - just to watch and get some footage of Matt doing an 11 .... to put the pressure on, if you don't do a big enough burnout before the run and subsequently have grip issues, I am taking her on the track for the next run to show you how it's done

yeah I live in Northgate Pete - so every time I turn out from Fosters Rd onto North East I get a good gander at the Motocity cars .... it used to be nice when Turismo was still in business, and that dodgy Japan Car Sales was near the body workshop before it moved - I used to get to check out tons of imports

I agree on the 'tuners aren't tuners' comment .... especially when Dean and I took our cars to XYZ Tune and expected it to be tuned by a professional tuner with 20+ years of dyno tuning under his belt - only to find out later my car was tuned by apprentice XYA .... no wonder I am not happy with many aspects of my tune - especially since the dyno provided to me upon pickup of the vehicle shows a/r ratios slumping into the 10:1's at some points (and significantly higher power figure expected).

yep he is very helpful and well priced .... I have been buying my motor and gear oil off him.

can't agree with you more Grim .... I am willing to bet our meticulously maintained cars can stop a HELL of a lot quicker from even 60km/h - 0 than most average rust buckets (nearly 2 ton Falcoons and Commondores) can from 50km/h - 0. Ban low performance drivers and cars, rather than our beautifully built and engineered Jap cars, whose safety standards outstrip the Aussie built competition by a margin so wide it's not even funny!

yeah but has the road toll gone down? NOT BLOODY LIKELY!!! The 50km/h zones are costing people on the road all day like myself (and a gazillion others like taxi drivers, couriers etc) tons of money in lost time - I have had to add 1/4 hour on to each job due to driving anywhere near the city .... maybe I should put in a bill for lost income to the govt - surely they are getting more than enough income from hidden speed cameras. (Note - most other states have BIG FAT signs in front of even mobile speed cameras - as a WARNING not to speed, which is what the cameras were originally intended for). /end rant

yep I have one, and it is FANTASTIC!!! I bought it from them off Ebay for around $220, and I bought a Catco high flow cat-converter for $250. Had them both put on and the dynos directly before and after were 17rwkw difference!!! The dyno runs were on the same dyno, the same day. Best bang for buck performance upgrade I have done!
