I think some of you guys are being a bit harsh .... everyone has a right to like each type of vehicle .... and yes, he is talking himself up a bit at times - but I think we can all be guilty of that on occasion. Nice looking car anyways Ben - like Matt said not my cup of tea, but each to their own. I think it was good of you to bring it down all the way from Alice - variety is the spice of life. However, my 2c is that yes, whilst S14s are pretty commonplace nowadays, if you had spent the sort of money that has obviously been spent on the magna, it would be a serious beast .... time after time I see people throwing money on cars that just can't compete with Skyline/Silvia muscle, then throw them in the same arena expecting them to compete .... oh well, it would be a very boring world if we all had the same cars and same mods ....

yeah Phuman used to have an uber riced up yellow 300ZX with jp shite all over it! His 34 is prety nice .... have seen it in a few car shows around town too.

What head office - each installer is a type of contractor ... but I guess it couldn't hurt to tell APS your plight. Yeah mate, a Z32 afm is no worries at all .... except funnily enough the bloke that tunes our Unichips 'doesn't know how' to install a Z32 afm in an S15, and suggested I take it to Tilbrooks to fit - roflmao

As hinted at in other posts, we are proposing to go on a Barossa Valley wine tour. These are busy couple of months with The Fringe, Adelaide Festival, Easter and Clipsal 500 all in close proximity. I suggest we do it on Saturday 27th March - what does everyone else think? (This weekend dyno day, next weekend Blink 182 , 20th/21st March Clipsal 500, 11th/12th April Easter, I have a wedding on Sat 3rd April). So it would have to be March 27th. I assume we want it on a Saturday so we can piss on afterwards and/or recover Sunday. I think for the weekday workers a Sunday arvo trip would be unpopular. (It is unpopular with me, anyhow). So, assuming we can get a bus for that date (we would meet at a central point and bus it all the way), who is in for Saturday March 27th? We would absolutely HAVE to get a deposit for this, as the bus would have to be paid for upfront. Come one, come all!!! I would think we would need numbers like 30-40 at least to make this work. Is anyone friends with any bus/tour companies? sorry to hear about your experiences Dean .... as you know they did an ok job on my car, but yes they were expensive, yes they went a day over time, and yes - my tune is VERY conservative and he won't tune it any harder than 11:1 (it even dips down to 10:1 at some stages of the dyno). The good news is ****** and the lads at ******* are hopefully gonna be able to tune Unichips soon .... I am hoping really soon, as I just got my Z32 afm, which requires a whole retune - and I don't want to take it back the the 'T' place! (Blanked out names 'cos I don't think it's a done deal yet). The good news is Dean, with the tune you have, you motor is absolutely unbreakable, cos it is tuned so soft (if it's anything like mine). Small comfort I know, but at least in the long run it won't blow up in your face like lots of RB25's around the place have been in recent times.

I think it was only about 690kg from memory Matt - I wanted very light and streetable, and it was the same as the oem clutch. I guess it kinda makes it clamp softer, so it let go easier - but in the end they all go sooner or later. Fyi I am getting quite used to the twin plate already - only stalled it twice on the cruise today, but sometimes my foot just happens to slip off too quick and you well know the result of that!
