  1. R33 Skyline Ebay link ... there ya go lazy girl
  2. yep I'm in as always (didn't we race there last Sunday? lol) .... ummm 80kg .... *coff* 93 *coff*
  3. dude, what was the location's proximity to a) houses B) businesses and c) thoroughfare traffic (at that time of the morning)? Answer: effectively the middle of nowhere
  4. yeah pity that was 2am on a semi-private road in the middle of nowhere .... and I have no items on my car that are defectable, thank you very much!
  5. welcome to our little fold .... may your boosting be joyful!
  6. Dean, no offence particularly meant, and I am certianly not one to point a finger when it comes to playing up every now and then, but there is DEFINITELY a time and place - and I choose mine VERY carefully.
  7. umm Dean - broke traction hey? .... *coff coff* there are around 20 witnesses now calling you a straight out liar mate .... you don't 'break traction' for about 20 metres then have neighbours come over and complain about it .... and I think the rear bar respray for Matt's car was about $250 .... what is your reaction to that? He paid for it out of his own pocket. And apart from when Chops saw you antics at dyno day .... he (like the rest of us) have had to put up with your post-whoring of normally absolutely useless posts for some time now and it is getting old .... this is all he has to base his impressions of you on, so I'd say he's not far off the mark
  8. I just registered online for Hannoford Hump
  9. drifting is MUCH worse than track work, as you don't get constant air flow to help cool the radiator and hence oil. I ran my car out there on a track day and at one stage my oil hit 220 degrees fahrenheit! Normal oil temp is about 170-180f. I won't be heading out there again unless I get an oil cooler!
  10. hats off to George, Theo and the boys! .... awesome time on BF's .... I am amazed they got it to stick that well (especially on the usually shoddy prepped Wed night track) - it must be perfectly set up. Did they have any wheel spin in any gear Martin?
  11. shh Matt, now everyone will want to see
  12. 9's???? Farken siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiifffffffffffffffffffffffff .... easy 11's yes, maybe nudge the 10's - maybe. But how the hell can they get enough traction without going the full tub and wicked slicks? Answer: they can't (mind you I'm happy to be proven wrong)!
  13. as per usual .... they are always there en-masse to support the wicked commondore drifters
  14. hey - I'm in the 12 second club thank you very much
  15. Martin, do you want me to run or not? Please post ASAP, cos I'm not going out unless the testing is definitely on. Cheers
  16. ah you may be right there Will .... I guess 15 years ago seems like a long time, but in reality I am probably thinking of older cars .... Roll on party weekend anyhow I say!!!! Sounds like we may have an event Sunday night too with Matty ....
  17. and show us how any other 15 year old car has to have an eye level brake light to be roadworthy????!! NOT
  18. as previously mentioned if it rains (which it will) it will COLD and WINDY as hell out there. Anyone who went a couple of times ago will testify to this. Instead I reckon we should have a late arvo cruise, then grab some dinner somewhere then head to my place for a piss-up with DVDs, 8-ball etc. Please post here or PM me if you are interested and I'll tell you when and where
  19. If you HAVE to do it this Wednesday and can't get anyone else I'll come out Martin. But if you could hold off till next meet it would be better so I can get my Z32 air flow meter and an EBC fitted.
  20. sorry I couldn't hang around ....
  21. If only I had an EBC in I would be keen as to go out, but 'as is', I have been out a couple of times now already .... I'll think about it though
  22. no worries mate, we appreciate your trouble!
  23. yeah I agree, but it is a unique atmosphere. We are going to Lenzerheide next month for a mid-year dinner for my wife's work with open menu and open bar .... double serve of Morton Bay Bugs coming up for me We went to The Blanc the other week and damn that was nice - you should check it out one night - absolutely 5-star service and food! Not 5-star, but quite possibly the best Chinese food you will find in Adelaide is Citi Zen - we are going there next week and my mouth is already watering at the thought of the Peking Duck!!! Like you say, it is a different thing at the Red Sea, but is well worth the experience.
  24. sif you could afford it Dean yeah we got there and lined up at about 5:45 (both times) and was in and seated by about 6:10pm and out at around 8:15pm. For entrees we had sea salt cashews with chilli For mains we had blue swimmer crab, roast scallops and pork, bbq prawns and roast duck. Sides of chips and green vegies. Dessert we had 2 x chocolate pots (sorta like choc mousse), pineapple pieces with passionfruit ice-cream, and a ricotta dessert. Washed it all down with 2 bottles of sav blanc and a six pack of Coopers Palies Mmmm my belly is nice and full now (I've left myself wide open here, haven't I?!)
