yeah we just went from 12-4pm for the warm-ups and qualitfying. Have things on tonight .... plus got pretty sunburnt this arvo already and had a sore ass from those hard wooden seats

didn't see a single cop at all on the way to or from the drift day. There were tons of very nice cars in the carpark - and some of the drift cars were pretty nice too

yeah I didn't get done - the officer was quite polite to me and told me I had a really nice car Total waste of resources though - I hope everyone writes an email to the approriate people - I know I will!

mmmm I was at the Horse Saturday night for Miss Nude Australia - was a top night The Pink Pig definitely IS open - it just closed temporarily a while back for renovations, but reopened a couple of months ago .... mmmm The Marriage I'm also in for an ale or two - I vote for dinner at the Bombay Bicycle Club - but we'd want to book VERY soon with firm numbers. Any other votes?

thanks Stuart ..... but unfortunately they are not by my own hand. A mate with a $3,000 Canon 300D and tripod took them for me .... I was merely spectator and car mover. I am stilll rapt with the shots though. I forgot to mention that all of the shots were taken after 10pm and it was basically pitch black, expect for some faraway lights. Most of the shots were taken with 1 minute+ exposures. Also, is there anyone here who would be interested in doing a photo shoot like this and getting a big poster done of your car? My mate sells his photos and has a contact that can get relatively cheap framing or block-mounting done. I am going to get one of my photos blown up and made into a framed picture. Anyone else interested in getting theirs done?

Can you please PM the number of the coating guy or give me a buzz? I want to get a few things done at the same time. Maybe we can all do a group deal, as it is much cheaper the more you get done!! Where did you get yours done again Matt H? From memory he got about 6-8 items done and it was only $400 or something.

I have been running lightweight shockproof oil for a year now and it is bloody fantastic. Last I paid for a 4lt container was about $130 - and I change it every 10,000km. It completely eliminates the old S15 box problem of clunking/sticking from 1st to 2nd gear change at high revs. Highly recommended. Last I bought it from the rally shop on Magill road (might be the place Matt is referring to).

We have first car arriving at 12pm last car 1:40pm Saturday, and 1st car 10am last car 11:40am Sunday. That is for our road closure section anyhow, and we are right in the middle of the stage (RC6) at the Hannaford Road/Airstrip Road/Lower Hermitage Rd intersection. I should have PCOTY there blocking off the road if you wanna find me

Apparently speed camera fines can take up to 3 months to arrive, depending on how busy they are. Chop's fine (from the Mt Barker dyno day) only took about 3 weeks to reach him though from memory.

I may be up for a run, but am uncomfortable with how hot my oil got last time - plus the fact that Danh (9krpm) basically did his engine, and Johnny (JSpec) did his turbo. I need an oil cooler, or more importantly the cash to buy and fit one .... I have quite a few little projects underway on my car atm, but not an oil cooler. Also the tyre factor is concerning - I toasted an almost brand new $1,100 set of Dunop LM702s the last time - on one of the early runs they actually went molten and the rubber went off. They were completely shagged after that .... Now I have got a much more expensive set of Toyo Proxes T1-S that I don't want to kill. I'll think about it.

Good luck with the cruise, looks like you got a nice varied bunch of cars along to the last one. I'll put myself in the same boat as some others here and say: thanks, but no thanks. My idea of a cruise is racing through the hills at breakneck speeds with a bunch of very high performance cars and equally high performance drivers (we've never had an accident in the 10+ cruises I've been on). I hate to think what it would be like to be stuck behind a riced up lancer (like the one in the pic) through the hills or worse still at a set of traffic lights. Each to their own, and good luck with what you do.
