you never know Chapman - a fair few of those permanent cameras fail - I got done about 4 months ago at Golden Grove on the way to marshal at the Coopers Rally, saw the flash, but never received the fine (I hope it's not still on the way).

errr Fri 12th Oct - do you have a time machine Troy? You have to check the availability of Mallala - I think they only have 1 or 2 public practise days a month. You can't just go out there anytime (obviously). But I won't be in either way - I'm not doing Mallala again until I get an oil cooler.

I got 14 runs in last Wednesday night, including a break in the middle and went home early. Was a great night, except the start line was too slippery and I found out the other day I was down 4psi (due to a cracked silicon hose). Next time Gadget - next time .....

They used to be available at that price when you had to store them for up to a year before they could be brought in, but now the cars are actually landing here, the price has gone up to the early $20ks even for an unmodded one. For some reason the price of R34s has skyrocketed also .... just when I was thinking about getting a GTR too

brilliant article .... I think we should all print up this article, keep a copy in the car and show police when we are next targeted for gathering in a group. Oh, and just like the comment "meanwhile, shopkeepers complain that they cannot get any police response to thieves when they report crimes because police are too overworked" - when we were barricaded in being defected the other week, a pub in Walkerville was being ram-raided - AT THAT EXACT TIME. If only the cops had been moe vigilant actually trying to protect and serve, rather than victimise and bully, then the ram-raiders might have been caught. Similar scenario when we have our cars or house burgled we cannot get instant police response because they are always too busy.

Look ALL you keyboard warriors - come out to a Wednesday night street meet (in 3 weeks) or the Saturday night meet in a couple of weeks and do some runs at AIR. There, the numbers talk and bullshit walks .... I have only seen 2 other member from here out there - MattR and MattH (Whatsisname) - if any of you guys think you have fast cars, cough up the whole $36 entry fee (for a Wednesday night) or $50 (Sunday arvo/Saturday night) and come race with the real men .... there are no excuses then!

Last night I had my normal street tyres - Toyo T1S on, which are $340 a corner and are an awesome tyre. I ran RE540s when I had my best previous run, but they are almost shagged now. Wanted to run my Ducaro RevSpecs, but couldn't change wheels due to the cross-threaded nuts. Have a completely different tune to previous runs so was keen to see how she performed.

yeah that time is right .... track preparation was pretty ordinary as per usual (for a Wednesday night) and I had major traction issues off the line. Plus the knob-ends that changed my tyres the other week have cross-threaded 3 nuts on one wheel so I couldn't change to my stickier drag tyres Ah well, was fun anyhow. Got around 10 runs in for the night and could have had tons more but went home early.

A few lads are heading out to watch, and I'll be running tonight if anyone is interested in coming out!
