  1. As mentioned many times previously, time as come for another Port Elliot/Victor Harbour cruise and go-karting. My suggestion is for Sunday 3rd April, meet at 11am somewhere local, cruise out and have lunch at Victor Harbour, then karting @ Port Elliot Pits. Info on the karting can be found here (click). Is everyone good with this? Attendees: Me & Carolyn (maybe) Munro & Cheeky GFXMan, Jaffa + 2/3 gtrGhosTDoGG11 Nozila + 1 Ronin Pawley (?) Cubes & Julie + little 1 Timmmay + Amy (?) Cillham Black32 +1 (?) Rob + 1 Chops Chapman & Sara Matt & Kim angel21 Oosh/Ash Sambo33 GRIM_R32 DanD NismoStu 9krpm +1 thirtythree-II +1 Very nice to see some new faces joining the list!!!!!!!!!!
  2. There are no formal organisers of events, but any events that are organised will be posted in this forum. I am about to post an event right now in fact .... see my new post. Andrew
  3. Hope it doesn't work out too expensive for you Danh - but when she is all sorted and you run an 11 you'll be on top of the world!!! Sorry to hear about your misfortune Clint - your car was definitely one of the best looking cars out there! You'll be back better than ever I am sure. Hurry up and get your 11 for goodness sake - else Danh is going to beat you to it!
  4. fyi you can go for a power run at Tilbrooks or Morpowa anytime you want .... from memory it is around $50 for a run.
  5. err maybe .... I don't mean to sound negative Ash, but we tend to be a bit snobby toward other 'clubs', as we are definitely not RA (Ricers Anonymous) like most other groups in Adelaide. We like to keep it 'in house', and consort with adults, but you never know, there may be some interest since we haven't had a dyno day in such a long time.
  6. yeah thanks to those that came to the BBQ - was great to catch up! Great Ash could make it for the cruise - nice to have a new face (and car) about the place. The drags were cool as always - pity Keir's 32s didn't do side by side 9 second passes though Will upload pics later tonight or tomorrow - got some very nice shots indeed Sorry to hear about your car Danh - you'll be back soon better than ever I am sure!
  7. damn Tim, you posted at 7:18am - wtf were you doing out of bed on a Saturday at that time?? Insane!!! But yes, the weather is going to be absolutely perfect for drags! Don't forget your sunscreen! We will have a group of small chairs to sit on, so anyone that doesn't know the group look out for some little chairs in a pack on the hill somewhere and you'll find us.
  8. yeah was awesome tonight - there sure were some very fast cars out there!!!! Can't wait for tomorrow!!!!
  9. Please bring some drinks, but I'll put on the food. Glad to hear you're coming Duc, long time no see! Can everyone coming to my place please post, so I can figure out rough food numbers? Thanks - Andrew
  10. We will start at my place at 11am, have a bbq lunch then leave for Ingle Farm at 2:15pm. So Mel (et al), you should meet us at HJs Ingle Farm, unless you finish up early.
  11. buying at the gate. I think they are $20 or $25
  12. nah too many numbers won't be a problem. If it's like any other SAU event only about half (or less) of the people who initially put their hand up will go through with it. When it comes time to confirm and cough up some cash, numbers won't be a problem. Hate to sound negative, but a lot of people around here have last minute things that always come up. No-one in particular, just a general SAU thing.
  13. coolies ... I know Chops will be too .... any others? 11am sounds like a good start time - we can have a few ales, a few games of pool and a barbie.
  14. ok new plan: Those that know me meet at my place whenever they like before 2:15pm (will do a bbq lunch if people are interested), others meet at Hungry Jacks Ingle Farm cnr Montague and Walkley Rds 2:30pm. If you don't know me and want to come to an improptu SAU lunch, PM me and I will assess you on an individual basis - bringing bikini-clad chicky's to jump in the spa earns you browny points Is everyone ok with THIS plan?
  15. holy crap Redback - read your posts before you post them .... my translation skills are struggling
  16. yep cnr Walkleys and Montague Rds Does anyone know what time the drags finish? I am actually thinking if the finals go well into the night, then maybe we do want to go early afternoon - I don't really want to be there for 12 hours solid!
  17. for details see Adelaide Raceway website
  18. Hi, anyone interested in a meet-up to go out to the drags on Saturday either meet at my place (if you know me & where I live) at 9:30am, or near the new Hungry Jacks at Ingle Farm Shopping Centre at 9:45am. Racing is 'supposed' to start at 10am, but NEVER does - so if we leave Ingle Farm at 10am we should be there for the start of racing. Who's interested? Any objections to the time? Andrew
  19. there's currently a Stagea for sale at Motorcity Imports North East Rd, Klemzig if anyone hasn't seen one up close and wants to have a gander. I have always thought about buying one of these with the RB26DETT/R34 front end upgrade that the Japs sometimes do. There was one on Prestige mid last year for only about $30,000 (if memory serves me correctly) - would surprise the hell out of someone from the lights!
  20. I take it having them slotted this way actually gives you benefits in cooling etc, and are not purely cosmetic?
  21. nice .... how long did it take them to do them?
  22. sounds like Dahn's (9krpm) S2k
  23. nah his clutch is all but shagged - it slips plenty on him when he boots it. So he is waiting till it finally goes, so he can get a new one and then head out to the strip. If he blew it on the strip it would no doubt mean trouble with the missus. He just wants to have a play around with the g-tech - if for no other reason than to compare to others on the same day.
  24. u mean you are STILL in Mildura? You bloody bludger
