  1. Wheel alignment and balancing. Drift setup = XXXXX
  2. The stock R32 GTR look is timeless and classic. Wing <-- Yes Front bar <-- Yes
  3. Well Duh! And I'd take a Lamborghini Diablo over my R32 GTR, but that's not the point of the thread.
  4. From an engineer. They will need to check that the items meet the ADR and then can sign off on it.
  5. Respect the RB30!
  6. Subaru Impreza GX Hatch.
  7. When in doubt, change it! Definitely not worth the risk.
  8. Guess it's your only option if you're out at whoop-whoop where they only have 90 ron.
  9. You'll notice the difference when cornering.
  10. Here in QLD I reg'd my R32 GTR for the first time. When they asked how much I said $20000. If you go off your auction or dealer receipt you can't go wrong.
  11. Time to rip out that power steering as well. Power steering crutch for poor driving and poor drivers. And get some worn out springs. Good suspension is a crutch for poor driving and poor drivers. And lose the tyres with full tread. Good tyres are a crutch for poor driving and poor drivers
  12. No. R32 GTS4 - 4WD Turbo R33 GTS4 - 4WD NA R34 GTS4 - 4WD NA
  13. Me too!
  14. Damn that's an ugly wing. Stick on a GTR or stealth one.
  15. This thread proves that there's plenty of wankers in the Skyline community. The WRX is a good car, but some people talk about it like it's a bloody Kia RIO.
  16. I have "snow tyres" on my GTR, can't you just use snow tyres, or do you have to use chains? Bridgestone Blizzak
  17. Depends on the compliance scheme. If 15 year rule, then it just has to be engineered with things like seatbelts and mirrors changed and side intrusion bars. It's pretty forgiving. If SEVS, then it has to be returned to factory standard, which probably means you have to have the front panels and light array removed and replaced with the 180SX lights.
  18. I'm sure they could cross-reference a few systems to prevent that sort of shit. That's why I said 1 IA per 5 years, or even 10 years. If you're a true enthusiast you won't be to perturbed by only getting to import 1 15 year car every 5 years. And as for your 50 relatives, over 5 years that's only 10 cars a year. Hardly a flood. Over ten years it's only 5 cars a year. There's plenty of ways they could have tried to preserve the scheme for true enthusiasts, but they didn't.
  19. I'm on my 3rd car now (R32 GTR), and in each case, BP Ultimate seems to be used up quicker than optimax
  20. Drag racing... LOL, j/k. Definitely rally. In all racing you're trying to get from the start to the finish (or complete the laps) as quick as possible. Rally drivers have to deal with awful road (or-lack thereof) conditions. Other drivers get a nice smooth bitumen road. Also, Rally drivers incorporate the skills required by the other types. They use drag skills off the line, Circuit racing throughout, and drift skills around those funky corners through the mud. It's like the difference between batting on an astroturf pitch and a real pitch.
  21. I say again. If they were really intent on just stopping mass imports and preserving the interests of enthusiasts, they would change the law to restrict import approvals to 1 per person per 5 years (e.g), but keep the eligibility of vehicles the same. It's so simple, and would have cut down the work DOTARS was having to do issuing IAs.
  22. LOL, digging a bigger hole for yourself. Accept the result!
  23. Hmm. I think I'm getting between 15000-20000 per year. I don't live far from work. I just can't stop driving my R32! It's too much fun!
  24. I don't see why you guys have to be so anti-WRX. It's only Subaru and Mitsubishi flying the turbo flag these days. A little more respect would be in order.
