  1. Why? Because the autos and sedans are more common, and less desirable. The manual coupes are more desirable. Supply and demand.
  2. Was it an option? There's a bunch of them on the Prestige site: R33 1 R33 2 R33 3 R33 4 R33 5 R33 6 R33 7
  3. From the factory, all R32 GTRs should come with the same grey plastic lip (unpainted). This includes the black, white, red and silver ones. I reckon this is to: 1. Match the mud guards (same plastic) 2. Allow you to scrape the lip on speed bumps and not have spider cracks appear all over the painted lip.
  4. say it with me *rollcage*
  5. Yes, the Monaro is fast. But so what? It can't get any faster! You can double its power output, and still beat it through the corners. Plus, in 10 years time, your car will still be running great while his is blowing smoke because your car has superior Japanese engineering. Don't let him bait you.
  6. Here: S15 Common Faults (Nissansilvia.com)
  7. It could be seen as a downgrade, since it's the lower-placed vehicle in the Nissan hierarchy. Read on Nissansilvia.com and ask the S15 owners about all the little rattles and build quality issues and ask yourself if you can live with that.
  8. All new fords have rooted cats?
  9. I hope you're getting some free parts or money for having those ricey stickers on you car!
  10. GTST = RWD, Single Turbo GTS-4 = ATTESSA 4WD, NA (non-turbo)
  11. When I tried to get a car loan the maximum term was apparently 10 years minus the age of the car.
  12. The only downside with resprays is that while cheap and look great, the new paint chips easier than the faded, original paint.
  13. It will fit, but it will loook crap, because your front guards are flared but your back ones aren't.
  14. I thought the idea of the turbo timer wasn't to let the oil cool per se, it was to let the oil keep flowing (while the engine is running) through the turbos to cool them. When you turn off the engine, the oil stops flowing and that's when the turbo seals can crack. Anyhoo, if I need to let the turbos cool I do one of the following: 1. (if servo is busy), just line up behind someone that is filling up. Waiting for them to do their thing is usually long enough. 2. (if servo is empty), just line my car up with the pump and wait the required time, then turn it off.
  15. Huh? The front bar curve is common to all GTRs including my stock standard 89 non-N1. It's to cater for the flared guards on GTRs.
  16. I've been using Mobil Premium for the past 2 tanks and can tell you I get better economy than all the other fuels I've tried. So in order of most responsive & best fuel economy to least, here's my results: Mobil Premium Shell Optimax BP Ultimate Haven't touched Caltex because it's not 98 RON here (Brisbane). BP Ultimate noticeably has less fuel economy and responsiveness. For those of you that think they're all the same, my wallet, odometer and experience says you're wrong.
  17. Yeah I second that. Optimax is the shit when you're in Brisbane. BP just goes through like water. But Vic and NSW may be different.
  18. Looks like the tuner's the weak link there
  19. Yeah, if you look at the VK Commo you can see where the VL came from. And speaking of clangers --> R31 Series 1 Skyline (yucko). Series 2 they got their act together.
