  1. Plenty of people have used RB30 pumps for tens of thousands of kays - they're no problem at all if installed correctly. That's why they leak. Adrian
  2. Sorry, sounds like it's what is commonly called a 3540 anyway. Garrett GT3582R is a GT35 with a 0.82 rear IIRC?!?!? Sell it soon and get a highflow. Adrian
  3. Kill switch is a great idea. No steering lock to contend with, no turbotimer issues.
  4. PM BezerkR32 for injectors
  5. The alternator dying on the Galant caused the voltage to the fuel pumps to drop and the lean-out condition killed the engine. It was a fuel only computer back in the day when full ECU's were lots of $$$. No-one buys fuel only ecu's these days do they? Anyway.......Pistons! Adrian
  6. BAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!! Snap! I raced for AGES on a 7600rpm limiter before the nitrous. Adrian
  7. No doubt! But what has changed to make it leave slower since May '05?
  8. CP's are cheap and great. Simple.
  9. Not the size of the converter that matters here. More the % that it is built to slip.
  10. Is that on your race-stomach?
  11. Crossply tyres 'wander' as you accelerate down the track and radial tyres don't. What you find is that the back starts to sway as you get faster and faster while the radial tyres on the front track straight and true for the duration of the run. You end up with an ever-increasing pendulum effect that can end in disaster. Please make sure John buys some crossply front-runners before racing again. Ask him if he noticed any swaying in the deep end that he had to correct. Over here our regs state that if your cr is quicker than 12.50 and you run crossply (slicks) on the rear, you MUST have crossply fronts. Brett's T51R is the KAI variant and is rated at 850hp not 1000hp like the SPL in this gtst. Adrian
  12. I will have to confirm but I don't believe the 9 sec GTS i listed was tubbed at all - I think it ran on a 10.5" tyre. Can you tell me the reason for radial fronts and crossply slick rears? Looks dangerous to me - or am I missing something? Adrian
  13. What you smokin', boy? The GCG/XTR manifolds are nothing LIKE the crap I've seen come from 'eBay pReformance' Adrian
  14. I do - it's been machined twice.
  15. I've heard this before so many times it isn't funny. While what you say may be true it has absolutely no long or short term negative efects whatsoever. Someone PROVE me wrong?!?!?! In practice, not theory please. Adrian
  16. Just a couple of things. First, AWESOME work by the projectgtst guys! Car looks and sounds sensational. Second, Slicks on the back and radial fronts @ 140mph?!?!?! Lastly, It's not yet the WORLD'S fastest gtst but its getting there quickly. Well done. Adrian
  17. Just sold my White AUTOart 32GTR on eBay.
  18. I know nothing about the RA1's so I won't pretend to be able to answer this question. Sorry mate Although $300+ does sound a lot for a tyre that size, Nittos will be dearer. Adrian
  19. <---------------------------- Is selling full manual conversion
  20. I did my first R33 gts clutch on the floor of my garage with one jack and low car stands - it took less time than that and we struggled with bugger-all tools and took hours to get the top bolt off. I would've asked the workshop where their hidden cameras were....Thats a joke. Please post here which workshop it was. NOTICE: You're not defaming them - simply quoting what they said the bill was. Adrian
  21. Nitto's are perfectly okay for the street and handle lateral movement (turning) very very well. They don't wear out super quick either. I had my 275x40x17" NT555R's on for months and months of street driving and racing. MT Drag Radials are a different story though. They wear out pretty bloody quick but who cares... That's what tyres do. Adrian
  22. Another day, (today) another 2 trader pm's going unanswered. I've given up passing this info on (phone calls, pm's, emails etc). Adrian
