  1. $10/lb seems to be the going rate.
  2. I have driven this car and it is one hell of a surprise package. Shocked me. Adrian
  3. Minimum distance on the shitty NOS nossles is about 3". They don't have that wide of a spray pattern anyway - one of their short comings
  4. Leave the 18's on. Don't touch the tyre pressures.
  5. We'll cut the front bars out if we have too! Find out mate. There's only one thing more high-tech than the procharger and it's not belt driven
  6. noone in their right mind would swap a brand new Weiand 8/71 bbc kit for a stanky underbonnet procharger - far too low tech. Paul has no prob with ACT rego
  7. Carbon hat and 8/71 are long gone Different, more 'below the hood' ideas are happening as we speak. Talk to the engineers for me - Paul is reading this over my shoulder and drooling! Adrian
  8. Paul would love to get the tube back-halved Stude registered - think it's possible with the 33x21.5" on it? Gimme the name of the Eng Adrian
  9. GAH! I'd love to know how you can get a full tube chassis car registered?!?!?! The future content of the mag is at the editor's discretion, not mine. In saying that, I'm not exactly here for my experience with blown, injected Hemi's, am I? Adrian
  10. I use a malpassi to split the fuel from the return. make sure your pump is up to it. ur local speed shop should be able to help with the filling.
  11. Electric cars are gay and the people that buy them don't care about performance anyway. Adrian
  12. You don't need a purge. Having the gas hit soft (rich) in your car will probably be a good thing. A purge gets rid of air in the nitrous line so you get the proper mix of nitrous (liquid) and fuel when you nail it. Adrian
  13. Tapping into a metal inlet pipe is a good idea. Face the nossle straight at the TB.
  14. Not really that amazing seeing as Jamboree has been running for 15 years. People that give SC one year and then hang it have no idea. Adrian
  15. Post a pic of the inlet, mate.
  16. MAP sensor placement will have little or nothing to do with the problems you're describing. Plenty of people have the sensors located where you do without drama. Adrian
  17. Also, plenty of hotrods and dinosaur engined V8's race in conventional ANDRA drag racing and they also have an 8 round Nostalgia series. Both co-exist perfectly well. Adrian
  18. Should have read: "I'm not going to QLD as it's not part of the ANDRA SC championship." I know he doesn't want to be part of an ANDRA deal but to say there wont be an ANDRA deal all together is a wee bit premature don't ya think? WSID have confirmed, named and dated two events for the championship this year. Adrian
  19. Not going to QLD if not part of ANDRA championship.
  20. I should add that I'm keen as hell to come and see you car in testing Kenny.
  21. Not really mate - will need a day or two to test in the coming months but not right now. I'm not tech'd either in case that matters. Cheers for the thought. Adrian
  22. Sorry to hear that mate - could've been a lot worse. Adrian
  23. Also, I'm of the opinion that air pressure gauges (tyre, manifold etc) should NOT have a zero mark or stop on them for obvious reasons. Adrian
