  1. Oh, and if a good burnout can EASILY net a 1.9 sec 60', why isn't everyone doing sub-2.0's? Adrian
  2. Who changes there tyres to be smaller than standard?!?!?! Anyway, ordinary street radials usually respond poorly to being overheated. They are designed for specific operating temps that are not replicated after a massive burnout at the drag strip. In fact, some DRAG RADIALS perform worse when heated up too much. Now I am a bit of a hypocrite in preaching the anti-smokeshow message but to be fair to any new people reading this, you're wrong. Adrian
  3. Thanks for the education mate but a perfect light at WSID is 0.000 not 0.400. I appreciate what you're saying though. Adrian
  4. Oh, all copies are absolutely brand new and completely sealed and un-opened. Adrian

  7. 1991 Mazda Astina in two-tone red & dirt. Adrian
  8. Steering wheel pic pls. Adriann
  9. As I understand it, these would get your ass kicked if used on the street. Adrian
  10. As a matter or interest, Octane Numbers are not a percentage. They are a rating that can increase past 100. It is determined by using both the RON and MON of the fuel and calculating a final octane number. Vortex is definitely NOT 98 octane and it makes my PFC knock sensor go off its tits. Of all the fuels i've used, Evolution 98 is the best but the servo that sold it locally just stopped carrying it. Adrian
  11. Just experiment mate Try slipping it a little bit from about 4krpm then letting the clutch out all the way once you have traction. Not sure whether you mean on the track or the street though?!?!? Adrian
  12. But I thought your car was being de-stroked to an RB20DET to make more power??? 380? nothin lol
  13. Brendan, what time's dinner and do the ladies (Tosh etc) need to bring a plate? Adrian
  14. 380kW @ rears on sunoco unleaded in the BU5TER. Std internals and still with RB25DET head. Adrian
  15. Dyno print out somewhere but I will suggest that the cars running 12's on std turbos are pushing anywhere between 185-200kW @ the rears. Mine = 195kW. Adrian
  16. Pic of the wheel? Adrian
  17. Which excedy twin plate is it that handles 750hp exactly? Cheers Adrian
  18. Awesome mate! Well done. Buh?!@?@ more info please? Adrian
  19. Your old! Adrian
  20. And you might want to get a farking clue, pal. Tongue in cheek or not it is in incredibly poor taste and i'd prefer you just shut the hell up in future. Errr... as soon as you nail it off the line, the nitrous kicks in. Remember that nitrous gives you the same amount of power/torque @ 4000rpm as it does at 8000rpm so no waiting for turbos to spool before the power's there. Adrian
  21. No mate, you're the moron. Let me give you a flash back to 12 months ago when I was told the following: Nitrous and the standard turbo won't go together and it'll last 'one meet max'. You keep racing your car like that and it'll last 'one meet max'. Burnouts like that will break your gearbox/diff/motor/arse etc and it'll last 'one meet max'. Whilst I agree that that it's a farking bad idea to change plates and race again without UDL and ANDRA approved cage, I think you're over-stepping the mark a bit by saying that his box will break. Also, anyone wishing natural selection takes it's course by killing other forum members at the track has no place on this forum discussing anything. If you think I'm joking, run that past PranK and see what he thinks about it. I could save you the time though.....re-read the above paragraph. Jeez! Adrian
  22. GTR's and 4WD is for cheaterers but the left nut will come off if that's what it takes! Adrian
  23. You need to drive a car with a lightened flywheel then. Adrian
  24. Do a search for the potential problems associated with externally venting BOV's. Especially if you have std management. Adrian
  25. No. Not unless you plan on doing more work to it at the same time. Not a bad idea changing the factory fuel pump if you intend to race it though as they're known to fail at the least appropriate moment. Adrian
