Hey guys, I spent today taking my cam covers off, mainly to have a look at the condition and see if anything has been done/changed to them. And also so a friend can polish them up for me, we are thinking about making a service to all SA members at a good price. (With a $20 donation to SA for each one) Hes in his 3rd year apprenticeship and has an entire workshop to use. I will post before and after shots in a seperate thread once i get them back. If he is then im smoking too, I agree, I dont think NISSAN intended for the GTiR to be a revelation in power or speed but rather a cheap, reliable and performance orientated vehicle for anyone. They are ok, i dont understand why theres been 10 threads on 'whats the best gtir' 'how fast is a stock gtir' 'how much .. etc etc in the last few weeks tho they have more power than 180s and silvias because they got quad throttle bodies overall they are a good base, the SR20DET is a great engine but at the end of the day, some say a car is an extension of your manlyhood and a hatchback just dont cut it for me If i bought one, ide make it a full track car and not register etc

Dont actually use the gears, leave it in drive all the time. A mate used the gears alot and gearbox shit itself after a few months. What are you getting done Lauren? Cos im in the same boat

Where bouts do you work NA? im assuming its an audio place yeah? I was thinking about NOS too but cosidering it costs about $1K and ide only use it on the track i dont know if its really a financially wise decision.

I kinda wish they made the 2door skyline a 2 seater car, theres nothing i hate more than having to trug people around in the back seat ! the 4door are great for not just a unique but a very useable car with a good kit they rock

Nah brisbane isnt as bad, i actually dont mind the carpark on a sat/fri nite. Its not a priority, but is something fun to do if you got nothing planned besides being at home. We usually go there for a little bit, check out the cars and females and goto the casino. Theres alot of laughers but genuinely there is some nice cars there. Just watched the drift bible and i keep drifting sideways in my computer chair, i think its a good thing i cant drive my car at the moment Its actually in getting new front bar, side skirts, some minor panel repairing and a full buff and wax.
