Two days later:no interest?What's going on?

I know of one BIG hitter that may be ready in time(read:2.7l RB26DETT,T51R,blue bottle in the boot...).That WILL tear the backside out of all challengers,I do believe.But I agree with Sinista32:AutoSalon and the Jamboree is our thing,really.I'm partial to anything that's "got nuts"(from a '55 Chev to a Series 8 RX7;anything goes as long as it GOES),but the 'Nats are really L.C.D.-Lowest Common Denominator- when it comes to respect,I.Q. and understanding of tough cars...Sure,a 1000hp Commonwhore is impressive on the dyno.It'd be way more impressive if you could drive it every day,turn laps around a track in good time,have it turn-key reliable AND have it legally on the road...THAT'S why I love 'Lines!!

Spotted:six of us in a row on Friday night!So you could say we were in a line,in our 'Lines to stop on the line-at the Lakeside Rydges for a formal.By memory,there was Choochoobar,SxyGTST,WhyTry,Sinista32,SupaFly Skyline plus little old me(no comments 'bout the age thing,you lot!) plus an R33 in grey that was happy to zip around us as we drove in(anyone on the forums?).Those that haven't been treated to SxyGTST's ride lately need to see it now:the rims now match the rest of the car-schweeeet! Plus seeing Alf's cameleon R33(AJC plates),pretty sure I saw JohnnyR31,a coupla white R33 GTST's,a silver R33 GTR...Pretty good night for spotting 'Lines,really!

Funny,that.Hence the reason I'm chasing some from fellow SAU'er and their contacts...because it seems no shop has "existing stock".Falken Aus. told me they've got none as the current "molds" were finished,and they're just tooling up to produce more.That'd be the wait 'till mid next year,then!I don't know who's been told pork pies,maccattack-either or both of us-but I still need some pronto!

I know this is slightly ,but I've had zero response in the Wanted to Buy area...URGENT!:I need Falken Azenis RT215(the sticky,trackday ones)in 235/45/17 x 4 either NEW or with a few hundred K's ONLY on them...It seems the retail outlets couldn't be :shake: 'd tracking some down;I called Falken Aus' to be told they haven't had 'em for ages,and wont be sending any new ones out until March or April... :hellpisd: Can anyone help out?I need 'em on the car and ready to go by next Thurday(2nd of December).I'm cashed up and rearin' to go...

I'm after 4 x NEW,or as near to new as poss',Falken Azenis RT215's in 235/45/17.If the tyres have been fitted to a rim,I don't mind.Anything over 500k's of driving is no good,though!Let me know in a PM if you can help!! Just spotted on the news:3 killed when a GTR driver lost it in a suburb,central NSW coast area.The car was pulled in half-f**king huge mess.This will do any 'Line owner no end of bad press for a while.I hate to ask,but the car in question looked familiar:I'm almost 100% sure it was an R34,Bayside blue,blue painted five spoke deep dished rims w/polished edges...It looked very much like the 34 featured in S.P.E.E.D. 014(edit name removed,"EVLR34" plates),plus he resides somewhere in the Central Coast area...Christ,I feel weak at the thought of what happened,and that it could happen to any of us.Weather or not the 'Line in question was a SAU'er or not,my thoughts go out to family and friends of those killed.Mad as I am for anyone going too fast in built up areas,the ultimate price is a life-or three.Another sad day for performance car people...

Thanks to the wonders of Mr Gates and co.'s www ,I'd like to ask your findings on using the FC-datalogit stuff with Apexi's Power FC.Someone who I consider to be quite adept(read:I reckon he know's a thing or two 'bout Skyline stuff)put me onto FC D.L.'s website,but my tuner,who's only just seen a glimpse of it recently,made a disturbing observation:he mentioned that there didn't appear to be a cursor to indicate "where you are" on,f'rinstance,the injector duty cycle map relative to....exactly what I'm failing to get through in words.It didn't come accross as a good thing,anyway.As stated,he's only fleetingly seen it:what do you lot reckon?Does it do all it says it can?Or were you disappointed?Is it worth the $$$'s they're asking?A brief rundown of my situation:R32 GTR,fairly standard.Will be a "built" engine job-2530's,pistons,rings,sump baffles,cams,gears.fuel system,clutch plus heaps more.Have a Power FC already.Looking to be able to tune and log and load stuff more easily.FC Datalogit looks the goods;fill me in with what you think,good,bad or otherwise!

Righto.Given up on most normal sources of stickerage.Now having some made up.All things going to plan,I should have some to show those of you that are doing the trivia night at Jerra pub tomorrow eve'... Has anyone noticed tha SAU decals that have the stove tailights are R34 lights?Bigger outers,smaller inner lights?The ones I've got coming I've had "modified" to be more applicable to 32 and 33 owners.Whilst they're "just for me",have a look and tell me what you think.Maybe if we can nail a reliable source for all SAU'ers,we could have some more made up?

I'm trying to get my grubby l'il mitts onto a SAU sticker or two... I've sent PM's to Prank and Shell:"nothing was the silent reply".I believe there's been a few variants over the day/months/years.Anyone have either one unused that I can buy from them or a CLEAR photo they could email me?Required as soon as poss',but definately before the first weekend of December.With other things I've tried to hunt down,SAU'ers have always helped out;I hope it's the same this time!Thanks in advance!

After going over some of the threads,it seems I'm not alone in the service vs. price thing.It's great to hear from people like Bass Junky,someonestolecc,Blitz,MLCrisis,Knore and lwells.It's easier for me to front to work every day knowing that some people have the right attitude!None of this thread was directed in mean spirits at GZ R33;did you finally get Nengun's number,A.?I hope it's all resolved.Me?I'm just working out what I need to order next!
