If your on here you know who you are, just give a thought for other skyline driver who will get branded "Hoons" because of your stupid actions. I've seen a moron in a light silver R33 GTS w/dark grey lower panels driving like a d**kwad on more than one occasion.I seem to remeber it had a pink and/or white sticker on the back window(maybe a sign shop?)and a "For Sale" sticker, too.Spotted mainly carrying on like he's just hit puberty in Fyshwick. There's a time and place for everything.I hope it's not a SAU'er...TOSSER. Late breaking news:just spotted who I was just talking about:I'm pretty sure the rego is YCV 79Q?I don't want to accuse the wrong 'Line and driver, but beware these plates anyway. And if this is YOUR car,AND you aren't the irresponsible one,let all of us know so we can carry on the Witch Hunt elsewhere...

On reflection, the idea of playing pool/rivia night/cold brews AND the O.C. at the same time sounds like a plan...

Back to Sinista's suggestion:I reckon I'd be up for the trivia night.I've got the last episode of the OC to watch next week, though!!Damn, that show's addictive!

:werd: There was some schweeeet eye candy at the Formal.SAU should be proud-SkylineBabe looked awesome!Maybe I'm biased,as my car was her ride to the Formal...Seriously,Cassi had the guys going :drooling: ,I tell ya!Back to the "spotted" thread:as mentioned above-Me,Scooby and Choochoobars' 32's in official attendance(along with Amaru ,making 4 in total),plus WhyTry's weapon was out growling around. There was a 33 of unknown ownership cruise by,but, whilst I had my eyes peeled,I must've been looking at all the talent and missed any R34 sighting.Still,it was a good night to be there... :aroused: !Geez,I was talkin' about the cars!Really I was!I don't want to sound like a dirty old pervert,do I?And,yes, that last comment leaves me defenceless against oncoming taunts by all and sundry!

NENGUN Performance - Need to Contact.
LTSJayce replied to GZ R33's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Here goes... You can keep some of the people happy all of the time, all of the people happy some of the time but you can't keep ALL of the people happy ALL of the time!I've been in the retail game for 19 years now,and none of the above comes as a suprise. It is,however, damned frustrating to hear all this negativity.I'm not sure if it's an Australian thing(and before you all go and get national on my a**,an Aussie is an Aussie, regardless of bagkground)I'm talking about;I think it's a mindset. No one wants to pay retail prices anymore. You'd be considered a mug if you do.Everyone wants to make their dollar go as far as possible, usually regardless of who you've gotta screw over to get that percieved value for money. For those in retail that take pride in trying to do the right thing by their customers, this usually means we get hassled,"price shopped" and screwed by some people.Meh: it's part of the job.The main reason I see people go to Greenline,Nengun et al is price.Go on:try to deny it!I did, too, when I went to buy my 2530's.I saved nearly $3000 over Australian R.R.P.It took longer,I don't have the local distributors' back up,and I had to do a bit of emailing and running around to get such a saving-all these things I weighed up before purchasing from anyone other than a "normal" retailer. And I'm stoked with Brent's(Nengun)service!!So should some people that expect all of this when shopping outside the normal square we live in.Someone gets great service(this may include price, attitude, backup, timeframe, product knowledge and selection amongst others)and they'll statistically tell 3 to 5 friends.Someone has a bad experience and they'll tell an average of 20 people. We're all happy to whinge when unhappy but we're quiet when we're content. How many business would last by being dishonest enough to take your money, never sending goods or replying to your emails? There is almost always a very good reason for this breakdown. It just seems that most people are happy to "pull the pin" very quickly and run off at the mouth about bad service without investigating futher. Why should you even check into it further? You wouldn't have to if it was your local Autobarn, would you? No:they'd just give you a credit note or refund,But we're not in Kansas anymore,Toto! If you choose to do things differently, prepare to put in a bit of extra work!Anyone out there want to invest a few million dollars in stock, pay huge overheads, train your staff up to be all the things you'd expect in a shop environment, then sit back and watch people screw you to the wall merely on price?Service?Hah!Most shoppers could care less:UNTIL something goes wrong for them...Everyone has a story, good, bad or otherwise. My solution is this:do the maths. If you communicate with 3 people about buying a product and two say it's good, one says its' bad, have you really researched far enough?Talk to 100 people.200,even.Law of averages work here. It's a bigger test bed.I did this when considering buying from Nengun.About 90+% of people said good things:I made the call that this was good enough for me.And I will shop with Brent again(waiting on an order right now,actually)-happily.If something goes wrong,I'll calmly deal with it.Those of you feeling hard done by:do the same.Anyone who bothers to read my rant this far now knows I'm :hellpisd: at how things happen like this:life's to short-just get on with it!The Earth wont stop spinning just because your annodised purple dipstick showed up a day late,AND in a shade close to Aubergine...If you want better service,PAY FOR IT or do a better job yourselves! -

I can see this thread turning into a good vs. bad Nengun thing-I personally have nothing but praise for Nengun so far-but,please:can anyone help GZ R33 out with a contact phone number as he's asked? As for Brent(Nengun) passing up on 10K worth of orders?! -
Ha!I might have to bribe you with alcohol or similar to swing by some time and show me how to use my 'puter to get all my stuff "MP3'd":I've only accidently made about 13 MP3's(lucky number?!),but I've got MANY CD's I need to convert so I'm not carrying a spare Sanity shop in the car... Every time someone tries to talk me through it(PM,phone, standard email...)I seem to c*@k it up.I really need hands on help!Any takers?E.?

This bit to suit a GTS or a GTR 32?If it's the R,I'm in! -
Groan...although I asked for that, didn't I?! And a large clap for the person responsible for said burning of revenue raising device!
-
Ah,yes:always seem to be flat out!Anyone that's dropped by the shop will attest(but not ATTESSA! Ha!)to that! Sorry, dude:didn't intentionally brush you off-was just a little short staffed on the day.Running around too fast with bodily parts hangin' out in the rush,LOL! Funny,I was gonna post a spotted bout a black R33 at Newgel:looking MUCH better!!Congrats!

Velocitator!LMAO!!!!I just GOTTA remember that one!
-
LOL:yeah,it worries me that such reputable brands can be put into such ignorant hands(generally...).Then again,at least the volume and accessability is there for all of us to get at!
-
It's hard to say who would be good at representing a brand properly-Super Cheap?Wouldn't want the name assosciation.Auto Barn?National big-hitter that'll undercut anyone to deal with the manufacturer. Then you've got the smaller, local fish.Evo?Seems most people, including me,are at least wary of them.Fast and Furious Imports really only seem keen on the car side-fair enough, too.J Racing?Jerry could be worth asking-whilst I have no problems with J Racing,I'm not sure what everyone else thinks...Skyline Performance?Dunno anything about the owner/s,really.Then there's always this damned new-age www. thingo!Could save you dollars on driving around keeping people happy, maybe? In short:more research to do?I got my new Brides from J Racing, but I still had to do MUCH arsing about to wind up getting the bases from Japan, via some outside assistance. The final 5% of good service is missing in Australia:maybe it's the laid back Aussie thing,I don't know...
-
I know what you mean!Feels weird without my car nearby! I was just checkin' out your FMIC in a daydream(dunno what it is,but it just looks SOOOOOooo tough on your ride)when you came outta the shops...I wasn't stalking your intercooler! :innocent: Honestly,I wasn't!!
-
Now I'm confused,Stirlo:I thought your GTR was gunmetal grey... And I definately saw a GTS-no flared guards,no exposed grill(that rolled-over-lip style bonnet was the clincher),standard low mount wing...so,if your GTR is yellow,I musta had my radar turned off briefly,'cause I missed it altogether! :looney:

Ah,shucks!I'm blushing!And Erica is too!
