You were running 15psi through the stock turbo? No wonder it shat itself... No more than 11-12psi should be run. And yes, hi-flowing will make it laggier, you are putting in larger wheels. $350 is for second hand stock turbo. Realistically to put a decent hi-flow, ball bearing etc, $1600 is the cheapest you'll get. You can get bush bearing ones for around $800 but their performance is not as good and for 220rwkw there is little point in spending $800, then $500+ for the tune only to gain 20rwkw and more lag.

Yeah but so what? You get a turbo that will have all the lag, but no power because you are limited to 220-230rwkw (or so) due to needing ALL the other supporting modifications. Kando/hi-flow - all will go over 250rwkw with ease. No point having a bigger huffer for no gains. Cheap or not, its pointless when the OP has clearly stated he doesn't want spend anything more on any supporting mods when a stock turbo is $350. Also change the turbo = need a retune $$

any of your typical high performance road bikes really R1, GSX1000 etc. Any of them with exhausts/tune/cams scream like hell itself. Awesome

Put a stock turbo back on there and setup the boost control better. There is no way the turbo should be falling over from 4200rpm for a start. That's just a poor setup. And if you don't wanna upgrade fuel pump, AFM, injectors - forget upgrading the turbo. You can't do one, without the others.

I've got archery high skill, but with only 2 perks. Combined with a 30% Archery improved helmut it smashes mages in 1-2 hits when sneaking But ye have one/two handed almost level'd fully. Shouts certainly the easiest way if you wanna charge in against 4-5 of them. I usually pick 1-2 off first.
