  1. Thread closed. Believe it or not, but since SAU started more than 7 years ago, this topic has been discussed before. Please use the search function in future. It may be found here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=search&search_in=forums While we understand that it can be frustrating to have your thread closed - Please consider that other members may feel it to be disrespectful and selfish of you to post a simple question, without using the search feature to review the wealth of information provided by said members over the years. If you still feel that this action is unjust, then please PM me and we can discuss it further.
  2. It's an ARC round Brad = 100% spectator driven. In fact the more ticket that sell under the "SAU" banner, more points we receive. More details to come on that in a few weeks, so hold off for now. But it will be an awesome event. I've been in contact with some rather special cars
  3. Agreed 4,024%. Some people just wanna be able to say they have run a "10" and nothing more. Who gives two sh*ts about comp racing. A GTR is without question the better set-up in a pure 'street' equation.
  4. +1 group buy coming in 2012, will be under 2k easily - /w ADR lines
  5. That's gotta be one* of the dumber things you've posted. *aside from the 2JZ/Supra talk on a RB/Skyline based forum If someone wants a street car, on DOT radials that can run a 10. And drive it around daily, for a reasonable budget - who cares about a "real" comp.
  6. ^ summed up perfectly.
  7. Closed. Clearly a business trader ad. If you wish to advertise your parts, you are required to become a paying trader like all other businesses http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/294953-are-you-a-business-want-to-advertise-on-sau-click-here/ Admin
  8. Probably mick from micolour
  9. Does it still retain the factory piping? If so, you should be able to pick-up a set for around $70-$100 in the F/S section. Always 1-2 sets up @ any given time.
  10. Fun night, even if i was nearly an hour late Gotta be up in 6hrs, hence bailing!
  11. Honestly whilst the turbo's are apart, and as they are a super cheap rebuild due to bearing type - kinda would make sense to do it whilst taking them off.
  12. getting on now!
  13. You've fked up the settings then. I cant remember what it is, but one setting will cause that constantly. Ill try find out which one
  14. With a decent rad set-up, it'll take ages to get hot. It's not a backwards step for a street car at all. End of the day water cools better than air anyway. So on a 30 degree day, even if the water temp is 40 degrees it'll do a better job. You show some data and i'll take my words back, but water will always cool MASSIVELY better than air. Get a decent size rad, decent sized core Quite a few manu's from the factory use W2A, I'd take a guess mainly @ space saving vs performance given it would cost more, but hey, the Veyron uses it - can't be to shit! The only disadvantages are weight, more complex installation and the cost. It wouldn't be simple and you would need to use decent parts & fittings for reliability where a A2A doesn't matter. You'd also need to workout what motor & how much flow, vs the cooling etc.
  15. for any subscribers: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/386273-bf3-night-tomorrow-9pm/
  16. I might not make it, gotta go checkout a car, not sure what time yet!
  17. Well the Turbo Multi has been removed, as has the classes, so we are all safe.
  18. It's Xmas - what else am I gonna do @ work for 8hrs during this period but hit F5 on websites? If you reckon the cars @ SAU Nats were fast, with the much "wider" regulations that now exist, that makes for some pretty ridiculous out & out race cars to come along. Back to the drawing board for potential SAU entries when you have guys like High Octane, Mercury, GT Auto & Willall all playing mad power R35 GTRs (yes i realise some are KO'd due to suspension points)
  19. What tyres? And can the person drive? Two most important things over power IMO. If you can't drive you'll need a LOT of compensation (power & auto probably the easiest)
  20. SIF that'll happen when he brings 100,000 people to the event
