  1. gtr injectors are topfeed, he would be after sidefeed, unless he converts the rail to topfeed,
  2. try injectorsonline.com , they sold me a cheap rail for $100 to go with my xspurt 1000's, needed a return hole welded which didnt cost much to do.. that was a topfeed rail which fit my r33 with some machining of the spacers..
  3. you can tweek the sound though when its being tuned, can be smooth or can be shaking and rough like your a try hard dragster lol

E85 would give you a massive difference, not to mention a cleaner smelling exhaust pipe, those cams will most likely give you extra lag, i dont think my cams even made much difference to my setup, extra ignition timing and boost will be better than some cams every day of the week... ill also add that E85 will make the exhaust note more beefy too, but your call.. see how you like it

I wouldnt bother with transplants, id do a simple rebuild on the stock rb30 and add a gt 3076 with 0.82, with that combination you'd have an awesome street 250-300kw easy.. i remember when my brother had a vlturbo manual, was mind blowing torque, even in mild state it was a traffic light weapon, 2000rpm and its all on a vl turbo with a gt30/35 will do 13's and under, a rb25 will be a backward step in my opinion, torque will drop and not be as much fun.
  6. 555's are enough for 300kw, probably not the issue, mine was limited to 280kw, tuner said some rb's can take more timing and others cant so dont expect things to change just like that, but obviously the exhaust must flow well..
  7. if your in brissy you can use eflex, so forget the 555's and go 1000's, you could basically copy my setup without the gtx, cams and external gate. a 3076 with 0.63 on eflex for maximum response and hit the 300kw.

  9. Id be checking for leaks, my intake manifold gasket blew on the way home from tuners, even the clamps keep coming loose.
  10. what power are you talking about with these ratings? hard to believe a tyre holding traction on a gt30 with big boost.. i mean with 200kw traction isnt an issue in second , with 300kw they get fried..
  11. I like that dyno printout, been comparing it to mine, 4000rpm is the giggle zone hey .. lol i think your gt and my gtx are almost identical though, so interesting due to the bad rap the gtx has had, have you thought bout putting a gtx wheel on and shooting for the 400kw?
  12. sounds like alot of $$ for what will be minimal gains, i would be buying a water/meth kit and having it tuned on higher boost and timing.
  13. I have a large exhaust system and turbo, with a 3inch oval on the end it sounds just right, no droning or attracting attention, but on wot is awesome. it not a throatie sound but a muffled roar.

  15. yeah i changed my name, well the usual advice is 300kw is the limit for stock bottem end so with that in mind 320kw is a good number and looking very safe on E85, i like to stay cautious rather than see how long the piece of string is... lol. You should go E85 next, cost me around a grand extra.
  16. try this, find a nice smooth piece of tarmac, let second gear come up to 4000rpm without boost, then drop the hammer and fry them for 60meters , awesome feeling, lol oh and PRIVATE ROAD obviously
  17. i was making 641nm, so looks like the two turbo's are similar on that boost, not sure about the housing differences though.. its a good result though, looks like 16psi, probably needs atleast 20psi to really unleash
  18. all of the stuff on your printout is just about identical to my gtx3076 with 0.82 when i had a tune on 98pulp.
  19. who says to use 3.4L? that would be on the low mark on the dipstick surely... Personally i fill mine a bit over full , upto the H and thats 4.5L
  20. I think Mobil 1 would contain aleast an average amount of detergents, it recommends on the back of the bottle for GTR's i think,
