Hi all
Lately I have developed a squeal, well more of a loud screeeeccchh from the front drivers side area when braking.
It only happens when I brake softly, if I brake hard then I dont get the noise.
It also only happens every now and then and not all the time, but boy it is loud!! its a screech almost as opposed to a squeal, kind of like that sound on the train when you are going through wynyard and town hall.
If I get off the brake of step down harder the the sound usually goes away.
Futhermore the sound only comes up when I've slowed down to maybe 5-10km/hr. The initial bite is fine, its just when it gets slow almost to a stopping speed that it gets noisey.
Its progressively gotten worse, it used to only do it once a month or so when the steering was in full lock. Now its almost every day no matter how I drive.
Anyone with any suggestions? search results havent given me an indication of what might help.
