  1. Looks like a good product too me, bet no one could produce one for the price if they made it themselves (taking in account for labour), hell ive seen one not even come close too there quality that took a 3 days too build (SR20 in a suzuki) by a custom shop and charged1300$ for it! mind you it was one of a kind because of how tight it had to be, but seriously, all you PRO welders out there crying about welds and collectors obviously have no idea how hard it is too weld tight bends in pipes or collectors, but im sure because you can weld an i beam perfect, you can make a manifold. Keep up the good work Kam!
  2. Zebra, i have no idea what your on about, theres nothing about flywheel hp anywhere in this thread
  3. Youll find most will say HP and RWHP these days, the tests were done on stock WRX's, when i worked there we mainly did wrx's because of the AWD dyno..and most of the time people would complain our dyno showed a low reading compared too others.
  4. no...were did you get that idea from? LOL there is a setting that shows flywheel power but its defently RWKW, i dont understand why you think its so hard for a rb25 too make 200rwkw, my rb20 stock on 1bar was making 180RWKW...
  5. correct its also a dyno dynamics, my tune was done at 11pm on a winters night so it was getting nice freezing air, doubt it would make the same power in summer.
  6. What spark plugs are in it? has the head been machined and the block? heard somthing like this once when someone put long plugs in a wrx, was long enough just too kiss the piston when hot but not enough too bend the plug too cause a miss.
  7. Defently not the dyno, it reads within 3kw of factory spec on new cars that have been run up, maybe ive just got a freak 25? oh btw my vvt isnt connected =/ but that only affects mid =)
  8. Im running a Microtech LT12s btw, its going to be a track car so distance isnt that much of an issue, you use around 45% more fuel when your on E85 because to get the same amount of energy from the fuel you require alot more, just like Avgas, i just dont want to have to bring 100LTs of E85 too every drift event lol
  9. Really? i was giving false info then, thanks for telling me mate, guess im going to go 50% E85 and 50% 98RON now =)
  10. nice nice, what setup do you have?
  11. Yes i think ile be doing that, honestly if it doesnt hit 400rwhp it wont matter, at 200kw it spins 3rd, just some tracks have massive straights and i cant pull 4th without it bogging down, most of the time 100kw gain = 1 more gear frying haha =P
  12. Yea i think your 100% correct GTScotT, thanks for the advice, i was stuck in 2 minds about it, the E85 power gains were blinding me =P
  13. Well im not sure on that ither, ive only ever worked on 1 E85 setup and havnt touched WMI before, i cant see why not though, to be honest i didnt even think of that haha
  14. If its a completely stock engine with no aftermarket boost controllers and it hasnt run anymore then 12-13psi then id say its safe but im only going off rb20/25's i honestly dont know about rb26 turbos, from experience ive had an rb20 running 1bar for 3 years without a problem and even sold the turbo too a mate and hes had no problems ither, ive also got an rb25 atm running 1bar and its still going strong after a year, but theres no power to be gained after 14psi, it was a 1kw difference from 14 psi too 18 psi lol, so if your hunting for more power and a peace of mind id change them.
  15. Awesome thanks for the info, ile defently be buying one in acouple of weeks =)
  16. Nice too see theres always f**kheads of forums =) Guess i made the mistake of asking a question i wasnt sure about.
  17. hahaha thanks bro =P
  18. Im wanting too stay under 20psi, will the G3 reach that or will i need somthing else, i really want a direct bolt on though.
  19. Still deciding on E85 or WMI, once i decide ile buy a turbo on that choice, plus im not a huge fan of external gates haha =)
  20. Hey all, this is a guide i made a year or so back when i first put a RB25 in my R32, i made the guide for Charge Racing, thought id share it with you guys too, enjoy.
  21. The logo didnt look too big on my screen, but it is a 26" lol
  22. So currently putting a list together on what mods ile be doing to my 25, have a 8g budget im working with too achieve close too 400hp and build my 32 into a drifter, will never be rego'ed again. currently im going with definite mods HyperGear G3 turbo DW300 in-tank fuel pump 740cc Deatschwerks injectors Maybe mods EWP 6boost midmount Greddy manifold But im stuck deciding if i should go with E85 or a WMI setup, both have there pros and cons, for me E85 is harder too buy as im in queensland but the power gains and and anti det will be alot more then WMI, but WMI will bring my temps down, engine will run alot cleaner and is easy to get...or run 50/50 E85 and 98ron...hummm any advice will be appreciated, Thanks in advance!
  23. hahaha sorry the pic went massive when i uploaded it lol, ile try changing it ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^FIXED^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
  24. Engine/Car: R32 Type of failure: shot number 4 and 5 out Factors influencing the failure: leaking water pump, ran out of water atleast 5 times, engine stopped atleast 3 of thoes times, lack of oil change for a year with around 25,000 without a serivce, limiter bashed all its life State of tune of the engine: stocky on 1bar General comments: I had a RB25 sitting ready too go in, just wanted too see how long the engine would last with it cooking so many times and no servicing, very impressed lol, Rb25 gets serviced every 5k on the dot!
  25. Im betting mine will hit 100% @ 260-70kw
