  4. yes im very aware of this buddy.... my previous setup was a bog stock r33gtst motor with a turbonetics hp61 xaust greddy intake 19p and it was making 265rwkw quite safely. if he doesnt wanna make bulk power then dont bother with the pistons and rods watever not my car..... and yes base mods are the good starting point
  5. ok for one.... the gtr crank has a stroke of 73.7mm.... the gtt 71.7mm the rods are exactly the same in lengths but the pistons have a different pin height..... neone correct me if im wrong but yes as far as i know the gtr crank rods and pistons will fit into the 25...
  6. no its not a useless mod its a gr8 idea but if ur gonna do it u may aswell just save a lil bit and do stuff to support it and make sum more power. btw to change rings etc u would have to take sump off aka take motor of car... makes it a f**k load easier
  7. ok then.... while u will have ur head off doing forged pistons and maby rods since u would be doing a full gasket kit including head gasket u wouldnt think u would do ur bottom end properly while its all apart... and u could put forgies in but with nuthin supporting the forged pistons all uve done is made ur standard engine a lil stronger on specific parts whic yes could provide you with the ability to go for an aggressive tune and so forth.... if u dont undastand wat i mean all im trying to say is while its apart take ur time dont waste ur money and do it right.... and as for the 10000rpm bit yeh sure rev it to 10... id give u a week if that...... standard internals on a 25 will not handle 10k rpm hell ive got a tomei stroker bottom end in the 26 im building and ive been advised if i want a reliable street car dont go past 9.... unless i get all supporting components which iam neways but i still want sumthin reliable..... clear enough!!

  9. i just dont see y ppl do half a job with certain things..... y not just wait for a lil bit then do a couple of things to bring it upto a decent motor instead of doing a half arsed job..... and as for 10000rpm being a little over the rev limit HAHAHAHAH are u insane. (SCHLAPPP)
  10. well since im using the tomei stroker bottom i was thinking the tomei one but if there was a stronger pump since its only gonna be a streeter i would go for the stronger out of the pumps as id rather not go dry sump

  14. does ne one know of thye benefits that the titanium coated top ring would give to the stroker kits...... i would have suspected maby it increases the ring strength and helps it during the event of detonation if it ever occurs but then i have had ppl tell me that this ring could glaze the bores very easily so ne one with experience in this field give ur advice
  15. if u shifted to second from 3rd wen u were on the limiter id be more concerned about ur gbox and driveline hence a massive compression lock usually... but if u had sticky tyres well i dont know but i wouldnt have thought it would have affected ur engine much cept for pinging of limiter

  19. orite well i havent really looked much but ive just been informed of the issue by one of the tuner i know... he works for motec... will have to ask a few shops wat there recommendations are on the matter
  20. well for one i will be running an apexi powe fc d-jetro word is they have trouble tunning them with the 6 throttle setup hence y i want a single throttle body setup and i want the apexi bcuz its the cheaper option to still be able to have a heads up display to keep a close on on knock...... and on closer inspection the throttle bodies are actually seperate from the other part of the manifold so yeh i guess that solves that issue
  21. hey everyone wen converting a gtr from 6 throttle to big single throttle im very unsure if u have to sumhow strip the 6 butterflies out of the 2nd part which attachs to the head or do u take that whole piece off all thogether cuz that main part is where water is delivered to ur engine which im very unsure wat u have to do???
