  1. well im not bout 2 months off starting my motor which is a tomei stroker motor with almost everything tomei which we all know is worth a pretty penny... so gtx still cheap but will do the job just fine its a 20w-50 isnt it..... wouldnt ya want sumthing a lil bit thinner to make sure it penetrates everywhere.... provided clearances are all correct it shouldnt matter but yeh im just curious as to this matter... off topic wat do u guys do for a run in technique nethin special or unique???

  3. 5200rpm WTF....... im in queensland and ive been defected for xaust and the test limit was 3200..... they tried to do it at 4500 im like wat are u doin he tried to tell me it was a 4 cylinder im like nahh mate its a 6 count the exhaust runners.... he was stumped and confused??? then tested at 3200rpm with a shocking tune measured 104.5db lol oops
  4. ok well i just turned arounds grabbed my brand new garrett t04z and it has side to side movement.... like every other ball beraing turbo that i have felt so wat until it starts making funny noises dont worry hahahaha

  6. the other thing is tho if u were generating that much boost u would be able to tell by just listening... if its howling its head off then maby it isnt right but if ur boost gauge is electronic and needs to be zero'd b4 starting car double check cuz wen i install mine i was reading 21psi with master gauge reading 14psi so just check that aswell bud

  12. well for one u dont need to adjust it because its hydraulic.... have they greased the cage that the throw bearing slides on the outer part of the shaft and put a lil dab off grease on the pivot......???? think about that like ram ur cock in a virgin with no lube!!!!!!! lol yeh but also it could be the spigot wen u depress the clutch and the input shaft stops spining the spigot starts to work its magic b4 it is fitted bcuz its bronze (provided u didnt get a needle roller type) u should always let it sit in a lil tub of oil for a good hr and even wen fittin it may aswell give a lil dab of grease on the end of the shaft where the bearing would sit on it as to make sure it wont make the screeching noise???? id be tipping spigot bush mate but thats just my point of view....
  13. dog box????? do u enjoy loud howling noises and crunching into everygear instead???? a gearset made by os giken will do the trick its a sychro set to btw. u could get it dont and fitted for about 3500 to 4000 would have to order gearset from japan tho.... good for 800 crank hp so ive been told
  14. y didnt u go a set of eagle rods ant...... like 700bucks......... also wheres the list on mods to fix oil control issues i dont know how hard ur gonna rev it bud so im just curious.... i dont see any restrictors in that block so wats the go????
  15. well im currently building a tomei 2.8 but im chucking on a garrett to4z... full built im aiming for bout 600hp aka bout 450rwkw.... ive seen em kicking in bout 4g and going all the way to 9g one 25psi making these numbers so im hoping mine will do the same...... by the sounds of it not as repsonsive as u want but not to bad for th power it will make

  18. hey guys im currently doing a full rebuild on my gtr motor'd gtst. i bought a head from down south with 280deg cams with 11.8lift.... neone with experience in cams and tuning would u consider these to be a pain to low speed driving/tune etc... and how lumpy would these be at idle and just for wank factor if neone has nethin with similiar cams and has movies of them on utube post up the links lol
  19. bullshit get the 26 rods and get sum 25 rods sit them side by side.... there is a shit load more meat on the 26 rods compared to 25 rods... i believe them to be more reliable

  21. if anyone is looking for a full long block everything except for timing belt area covers and cam covers. i still have one sitting here is a virgin r32 gtr block with standard head which came out of a car with 67000kms on it i bought it for a project but ended up using other bits....
  22. i lol'd quite abit at that. if this was an rb25 i wouldnt tho lol to put in my 2c it could quite possibly be ur motor on first start up with no oil pressure like the knock u hear wen u start it afta changing the oil if it sounds simliar well yeh i guess its just the dreeded no oil pressure cold start..
  23. ive been suggested to run ngk r5671A-8 like 6bucks a plug and they reckon they do the job
