  1. I don't know how you guys get your wheels spinning in a straight line.... re throttle restriction...I covered about 500km over the weekend...and I have to admit that even with the restriction in place, the cold weather has almost nullified the sluggish start of the line...car's been awesome to drive!
  2. What was the 'big hit'? Please no references to that crap movie...
  3. Yep they are. I'm in bayside Melbourne. Happy to post.
  4. Yep ill come over after work. Another bottle of fluid?
  5. Gets shorter. After a few pumps the brakes feel good.
  6. Scott fitted the Brembo brake package for me today, pretty much a bolt on affair with the calipers...used an angle grinder to hack off the dust shield in the rear. 350z Brembo calipers (F&R) RDA slotted rotors HPX pads Stoptech G35 braided lines the front braided lines had to be fiddled around with in order to get them fitted correctly and not hit/rub/scrub against the wheel. The rear lines fitted fine. Bled the brakes and refilled with Nulan DOT4 fluid. The Good: looks nice...brakes seems much grabbier when engaged. The bad: brake travel shot to hell. In order to engage the brakes I had to depressed them fully or pump them. Scott thinks either a bigger master cylinder is needed, or a rebleed is needed. Made an interesting drive down to Portsea tonight. Was pretty scared I was gonna stack...
  7. XT7's sold. R34 rims price reduced to $1300 firm.
  8. And that's why I don't have one
  9. It'll make the speedo in an RX/RS out by ~5% instead of 10%.... which could be a good thing!
  10. talkin about tow bars... how bout one for your 350z? http://www.350zhatchshocksandmore.com/Hidden_Hitch.htm
  11. saw this off Centre rd in Bentleigh East today. Looks like a Series 2 PM35? anyway it looks nice and tidy! Anyone here? Its also debadged..
  12. There were a thread or two...use search!
  13. Is your 44k yen price inclusive of the throttle restriction removal and speed cut? According to their listing on YAJ the list price is 44k. BIN @ 46k http://www.importmon...RO%20SPEC%20ROM Note this on their listing: I think Cam found out it was a 20k yen option to remove the throttle restriction... If your contact can get the remapped ECU WITH the restrictions removed for 44k yen then I'm impressed...
  14. Last I checked it was around 60k Yen, plus shipping. More if you need a spare ECU unless you can rent/borrow one...they go for aorund $150ish on YAJ...
  15. Bluestreaks? If they're good enuff for Scott...then they should be ok...maybe...
  16. I like this one: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html or this one: http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp Damn the standard ARX tyre size is 245/50? If you going 19's in 8.5 I reckon 245/35 or 40 If your gonna stretch it a little go 225....lol
  17. You have to understand that a remapped ecu with guesstimated values will never be as accurate as a dyno tune. With the power that some of us are pushing you need to get it tuned on the dyno, or at least via a system which allows for adjustments. Hence the need for the EMU. the gzone remap will never replace our need for a piggyback. The only thing the GZONE is good for, for those of us who's already tuned with EMU, is the throttle and speed restriction removed. So the gzone remap means no need for the vmanage...I think. For guys without an EMU it'd be good for other aspects such as afr and what not...
  18. Dude you don't need emanage if your just changing the exhaust, you only need it if you want to install the suction pipe and increase injectors size. Even then you don't HAVE to get an emanage. Cam isn't running one and his car's got all the mods done cept for injectors...I think. And no, Scott won't ditch his emanage just because this remapped ecu gets installed. With the amount of stuff he does to his car he's not going to abandon the only method of fine tuning the m35. Unless he gets a fcon...
  19. Those throttle controllers look awfully similar to that blitz abomination...
  20. http://www.importmonster.com.au/view?url=http://page18.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/w61955542&thumb=http://f7.auctions.c.yimg.jp/img383.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/users/9/2/0/6/nanakrr-thumb-1303861545895718.jpg&title=M35%20PM35%20TEIN%20SUPER%20WAGON Looks f'ing brand new, can't believe they're 10k km old. good buy for you RWD folks...
  21. Nah I asked how many EMUs he had and he said he had heaps. But this were waaaay before the tsunami... Asked him about the Profec B but his prices weren't that good.
