  1. yeap stock height - could be right with the lowering seen it myself and took a pic on my phone..245's wer going to be the tyre and it wasnt the tyre that was the issue it was the rim. but havent xfered it onto the pc.. it looked pretty ridiculous. i could check out some body shops first but im not getting my hopes up
  2. i was told it would work! and questioned it heaps prior to purchase. i guess unless you know people who have done it then you probably cant take anyones word for it. i was told 9.5 x 30 offset should work, it didnt, so i will definately be more carefull next time. I mean after all if i had a spare $1000 to go pumping gaurds it'd be a different story. But again it could end up very cop baitish regardless of how tough it looks. so its a bit of a double edged sword there. even the shop guy questioned the 9.5 width stamp on the rim saying "they look unusually big for a 9.5" *shrugs*
  3. lol... if only i had that kind of spare cash to just pour down the drain. unfortunately this is not the case ;D owell i tried and failed! 19's with a 8/8.5 width and 30/35 offset should be on the money

Its at the shops and its sticking out 1.6inches on rear with the rim on the car. would require fibreglass front gaurds.. sticks out the front 1.3 inches and 5mm gap on my strut tower. its not gonna work without either serious camber adjustments and chewing through 2000$ tyres or different front gaurds, rears could be pumped and itd look tough..but one bump on stock suspension its gonna be grinding tyres. not exactly the driveability im going for. theyre simply too wide.. the guy said itd work on a c34.. not an m35 without some crazy gaurd flaring. he said youd be lucky to get an 8.5 with a 30offset and be better of searching out an 8. well anyone wants them theyre up for sale.. would work on a r34 gtr. or a 350z without issue. back to the drawing board.. for some volks with 8 width i got them for $3350.. anyone wants them they can take them for 3k + postage
  5. yeah the 9.5 width with the 30 offset .. dunno hey.. they stick out the rears 1.5inches. some gaurd pumping if its not beyond possible!? could be an arab emirates camber pipe dream!

  7. nm , was just informed theres only the stocky bottom tank radiator cooler and any cooler thats found elsewhere is aftermarket. should be easier than i thought

  9. not with a 2 channel remote.. it was either do doughies or a figure 8 or drive straight.. when previously it was clean drifting around the kitchen!
  10. wonders if its the newer kit.. my friend complained his gt hdi came with alloy coated tin piping instead of proper ally a few years back. and seems to think the quality has improved overall with the bar and fin. i paid $899 plus $35 in shipping so $934 to my door. slimline fan arrived today hoping my gt2 goes on as easy as others! - and will i have to relocate the trans cooler?
  11. hehe i had an r35 gtr drift car .. it lasted all of about 2 sets of batteries worth before the steering went to puss and refused to turn and drive forward after a while - plastic crap drifting through chairlegs , around tables and driving the dogs nanna's, was fun while it lasted ;D
  12. ahh sucks to be in qld.. all the good m35's are in vic n syd :< next time im down in mordialloc, i'll have to arrange something similar and drive down ;d (packs emanage in suitcase)
  13. finally got the m35 transfered over to my name.. required a new roady but GT auto's sorted me! (without having to replace my drivers seatbelt WIN!) - which gives me time to source a newy now the legal grey area of mods can begin! booking it in for the nismo rim fit for friday HDi cooler going on tonight (slim line fan arrived!)
  14. spotted a white c34 rs4 outside GT auto's in brisbane when i stopped in for a roady. looked clean as!
  15. i worked out a good technique when doing the rolla gt25 hiflow diy. I had a bolt with a washer head that was hitting the dump and didnt have enough clearance..so i angle grinded it off. and i found it was best to get fresh studs and nuts from preferably the turbo shop to match your own.. then put two nuts on the one stud to tighten to the correct area (and dont forget to put locktie quick release goo on them) and the same again to get them off.

  19. mines actually an RX the one below in my pic is the car in question. I believe theyll be rolling the gaurds i know the fronts are quite rolled already but the rears will need doing. is the offset is 9.5? :?
  20. interesting to note though as i only just noticed it that they called the test stag in this face off a GT in one of the fuel descriptions..unsure if its a typo but could explain the mysterious 13.5 on the quarter time which is supposedly stock.. stock from nismo mebe :? "M35 Stagea 250GT RS-Four - Fuel Best/Worst/Average – 7.8L/100km / 15.1L/100km / 11.0L/100km" never heard of GT Rs Four.. anyone know any info on this?
  21. im thinking so scotty and so says the tyre shop.. weve come up with a formula 245 all round and rolled gaurds (gotta be 93PS to keep em legal)- dunlop sports max's for roughly $430 each which aint too bad for 19's The kyb's go on next week and then its straight off the rollin gaurds shop then the tyre shop.

  23. Bah the boxes said 19x10 but the rims are actually stamped 9.5 phew looks like it should be good for 235's but no centrecaps also.. anyone with a GT2 HDI intercooler what size slim line fan did you require for the condenser ?
  24. hehe got a jedi mind trick for getting these 19x10's on my car... im thinking ill turn up at the tyre shop get laughed at then told a serious NO they wont fit :S
