  3. you and me both! It does do some stranger changes now around 100 but im sure the computer will work it out eventually. Going for a complete fluid change tomorrow gearbox , brake , engine and psteering top up. Might even go new plugs... i noticed people dont change them till 100,000...but do you think its better to do them circa 70 anyway seeing as its an 8 year old car? Are they expensive ?

  5. No warning lamp came on since the new zorst was fitted but i made sure they got that o2 sensor back on the new one. Scott you mentioned you had the MIL light come on with this zorst and that i probably will also? Did notice it has does strange gear changes now around 1000-2000rpms at 100 on the freeway. My mate called me a bogan also and said it sounded like a commodore - lols.
  6. mind you said rexies spent the better part of a year with no engines and sat in the garage.. no point insuring that unless the uninsured house burns down..then ur screwed anyway
  7. I've had a few rexies that wernt even 3rd party insured for a whole year before Don't intend on crashing anytime soon. And my car is generally garaged but yeah its been a good month hehe But yeah driving to Sydney this weekend to pick up a 4x4 for a mate , so thought it was about time to get it covered

  9. just got a policy for $820 comprehensive with just car for a rating one. For a value of $20,150 (only paid 16k for the car) so pretty good there. excess $600. not too bad.
  10. I'm curious as to what its going to be for an M35 with the vq25det , and im 31 with a rating 1..... If its in excess of $1000 im not going to be happy! justcar or shannons you reckon? Anyone else had reasonable quotes on m35's for full cover?
  11. I'm still finding the nose a bit disproportionate to the rest of the body. the way the lights snake back and the bonnet curve... dont like it all. the gaurds however look sweet

  13. Just had a rolling start run with a white r32 gts coupe from about 60 on the centenary freeway , he Was giving me the "what the f**k are you driving / waving at ...look" but his laggy manual wasnt hitting boost quick enough, torque converter had him!
  14. was the mishimoto bigger as in core wise ? and did it come in aliminum or brass ? I'm thinking i should've got a brass one made up instead so it can be rebuilt on the cheap when knackered.
  15. Everyones been advising BC's over the non adjustable s-tune's How much did you pay for the kit and where from spoolin? I'm keen to get a set but looking at all the options of where and who for how much etc.

  20. yeah wasnt sure until i read in an earlier post the mil is the engine light. some ecu's have led's to represent the same thing
  21. I asked a question earlier after signging up but it was submitted for approval then disappeared into the ether... i guess it has noob question detection or someshiz cause it never appeared!
  22. still havent gotten it to work... will try again now. im wondering if my aftermarket alarm has anything to do with it..as the alarm has a 30 second timer before it disables ignition and requires disarming for the engine to start.

ERASING: •Ensure accelerator pedal is fully released. •Ensure ignition switched OFF for at least 10 seconds. •Switch ignition ON - DO NOT start engine. •Wait 3 seconds. •Within 5 seconds, repeat the following 5 times: •> Fully depress accelerator pedal. •> Fully release accelerator pedal. •Wait 7 seconds. •Fully depress accelerator pedal and hold. •After approximately 10 seconds MIL will start flashing. •Fully release accelerator pedal. •Trouble codes are now displayed by MIL. •Fully depress accelerator pedal for more than 10 seconds. •Fully release accelerator pedal. •Trouble code 0000 should be displayed. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- where is the ecu that shows these codes ? behind passenger kick panel?
