Just purchased some 19" GTR LM4 nismo rims for lots of money. and a HDI kit from Hybrid Power international. add tyres.. almost 5k on rims and an intercooler. "hides the reciepts from the mrs"

everyone i talk to says ityll make the ride bad. but on the same token they've probably got no idea in the variation of coil over.. and the hardness to everyones real experience here with m35's. my front shocks are fragged.. and suspension friend is saying KYB's will do it justice and some nice springs and not coilovers. so im gonna give it a go. see how the ride goes. if its still too sloppy ill go for coilovers.

was the safest controlled conditions ive seen..200kms out of newcastle heading to sydney at 4am with no one on the dual carriageway but me and mr (gay purple) v8 ss for a good 100kms. Couldve sat on the limiter for a good hour.. beautiful roads. Makes the M1 in qld look like a dirt track.

cant speak for off the line or a ve..but i beat a vq SS v8 wagon from 100-171 by a good 2 carlengths ..both cars were auto....then the speed limiter got me..and he rolled by as he obviously had no speed cut. both cars had 2 passengers. mine is bog stock apart from a K&N flat panel , and scottys old custom exhaust 3inch with dump & HKS muffler.

whats the performance difference be between the K&N flat panel compared to the pod filter.. i was lucky to get the flat panel one (oil based on with the pink oil) with my m35. would there be much difference of power other than the throaty noise of the pod. and does anyone know if theyre legal in qld?

I'm going a different route with suspension.. im going those KYB damper kits first then trying different lowered springs. i dont want hard as rock coil over handling but i dont want it soft as either. Should arrive next week, tell you how they go. The intercooler kit description is wrong also. there are 2 blitz kits available for m35's .. blitz CS , and blitz SE both kits are made to suit for m35's ive only heard of one being used on this forum by someone on the gold coast. not sure of its fit or placement but i heard theyre good. but expensive ..$700-900~ P.S everyone i speak to in the suspension field says dont put coil overs on them.. so im gonna go against the grain. i'll tell you if these suspension people know what theyre on about or if theyre just full of ^$%&$ regarding the m35's ride..

hmm sounds like my best option is either seeing if a local can tune it or taking it to sydney for a fcon-v tune or melbs for an emanage. hmm im hoping someone in qld has tuned these to some degree.. i dont care what ecu. if the fcon-v can piggy back and be tuned correctly so be it. as long as it can be done and im no test pilot ending up with a failed combo.

Where are people getting these HDI kits from for M35's who can source them ? ive seen the blitz ones online. and RS4T .. the fcon - wouldnt that be suited for a c34 not an m35? its either impul,nismo or a tune for an emanage i believe.

that pic of that o2 250T RS Four looks virtually identical to my RX japmatic.. i thought the rs4's had the body kit?

besides did you actually look at the price of that HKS ecu untuned on yahoo ? its almost 2k.

Yeah but wouldnt i have to take it to melbs for the emanage anyway to be tuned ? (im in brisbane) that can come later..and the ecu compared to a nismo is cheap.. emanage ultimate $899. nismo ecu - $1250 i want plug and play i mean plug and drive! for the time being

Surely it couldnt run worse though could it ? would it run like a bag of &$%^ ..if said example ecu was tuned to something much richer with a bigger turbo potentially?

it seems the ones in country are either being used either nismo or impuls and if they arent..people dont wanna part with them knowing my luck i'll pay $1200 for this nismo and then the flash for the stocky comes out.
