  1. In 3-4 weeks time i will be pulling this motor out of a mates car to install a brand new rb28 and he has asked me to advertise his old engine for him It is a 92 model R32 GTR with 135603km's on the engine. Its been very well looked after and had its 100k service at godzilla just after it was purchased 2 years ago with 110k on the clock The engine is completely stock and in excellant condition I will perform a compression test on it when the car arrives at my place He would like to sell everything as a package so we dont have to split it up, It will come complete long motor from sump to cam covers intake side to turbo side however it will not come with the wiring harness from the 32. It can however come with a R33 gtr wiring harness i have spare for extra IF you are looking at dropping this into a RWD Car i can modify the sump to suit RWD aswell!! the goodies Powerfc and hand controller with current tune making a safe 318rwkw on 18psi Z32 afm's and brand new tomei plugs to suit. Garrett 2860-5's in excellant condition with about 10000k's on them. Sard 800cc injectors. Split dump pipes and aftermarket front pipe (brand unknown to me) 3" mild steel cat back (if you want it you can have it with the package) For the complete package ready to bolt in turn key and drive we are chasing around the $8000 + freight. Engine is located in Cairns and will freight at buyers expense. At this point in time we are not looking to split the package up and would like to sell it as a whole Please PM ME if you have any questions.
  2. Stock coils are the best followed by Splitfires. exhaust and fmic basically stock car Stock coils 156 rwkw splitfires 151rwkw through out the entire rev range they were between 2 and 6kw down on power. nasty yellow things - 131rwkw Car ran perfectly fine and sounded great but it was down an average of 15 to 20rwkw through out the entire rev range. IF you are after a cheaper alternative to stocks or splitfires look into modifying your harness and adapting a set of D585 LS7 coils. You can pick up a set of 8 from the states for around/under300 landed in aus!! Any other LS coils will do a good job aswell however the D585's have the highest rating out of them all. quite easy to wire up aswell as make some mounts for them run leads and spark plug changes become the easiest!! Best option out of all but also an expensive one is a Billet performance products CDI setup for between 2500 and 3000... its also the sexiest looking option out there. Shithouse. Even in a stock car it may run perfectly fine and feel good.. but the shitty coil packs can be down as much as 15 to 20rwkw through out the entire rev range.
  3. Oh man.. the more and more i search about RB trigger issues as i am having major problems at the moment trying to solve me problem, reading that it could infact be the stupid f**king blue belt just makes me furious haha Also for those of you with R34 CAS's Autronic make a 6+1 trigger disk for them. as the r34's have a D shape locator unlike the R32/33's which have the 3 locating holes. Oh.. and mine starts to happen around 3200rpm and wont actually let me rev past about 4 due to the trigger miss's I have been through everything from Possible interference from the M&W CDI setup to running new wires and trying multiple cas's including changing out the exhaust cam to see if the earlier model CAS would make a difference. I'm waiting for my autronic trigger disk to show up and if that doesnt fix it I'll be making my own crank setup off the balancer as i cant justify 1800-2000 for the ross kit.. it is sexy and i would reccomend it to anyone who doesnt already have a expensive balancer thats building a big hp motor
  4. R33 GTR Gearbox came out of a front cut with roughly 75000km's feels nice and smooth to change i have no use for it and sick of it sitting around. $600+freight located in cairns/farnorthqld, can organise cheap freight through out qld, interstate i'm unsure of freight costs.

  8. 2.5 rods need around 70 to 90 amps, 3.2's require 110 to 120 amps, get yourself a piece of scrap metal plate(20cmx20cm minimum) anything from 4 to 10mm will do and a small box of GP's and start off by just running bead on bead on bead untill you get the hang of it, its the easiest way to learn how to stick weld with the least amount of wasted material, once you've got that down pat you can go onto to practicing fillet welds. This is how i learnt to weld when i was 13-14 while on work experience through school, with in a couple days of this i was confident in my welding and the guys where happy enough with my improvements to let me stick weld on the jobs they were working on. If the amp's are right you can rest the rod on the material after the arc has started and simply push the rod into the weld as you drag it along slowly. Get on youtube and watch all the videos by welding tips and tricks, the guys a champ and explains things very well. You dont need to go to tafe to learn how to weld, only to learn what you could do to improve your technique. If your running out of ideas of where to get scrap material from go and visit the metal wholesalers in your area, if they have a big plasma/oxy/laser cutter setup surely there will be some scrap circles they'll sell you for 5bux
  9. LOL Can see where you gurney'd the vspec rims on the driveway, nice work!
  10. Hi octane are selling these new for 6400, and if you hunt around you can score one for around 6. good luck with your sale man.
  11. Just because a workshop built A 1000hp engine it doesnt mean that this is the one, the only way to proved this thing has all the fruit is to pull it down and have pictures of ALL the parts that are in it, for the sake of being able to proved everything is there you dont even need to replace anything except the head gasket. Showing the engine sitting on a pallet like that means nothing to me or anyone who is actually looking to buy something like this to save themselves some money As far as i'm concerned with seeing the picture thats been supplied of that motor all it has is cam gears, ati balancer and a piss weak single plate clutch sitting next to it. Biggest sus thing for me is the bog stock turbo's sitting right next to it on the floor like they've just been pulled off.
  12. Bump. surely someone must want a new set of Spool Hbeams for rb30? or ARP Headstuds for RB25/20/2530
