  1. Just Engine Management at Ingleburn are good at Nistune. See their website for details.
  2. Good result and good to hear the car goes better. Thanks for posting the new dyno sheet up.
  3. PM xntrq and Aggroman too.
  4. Have you considered Turbonetics at all. Bobby from JEM in his R34 build thread consulted John Skoales about turbo's, his suggestion was get ones with compressor maps. It's worth a read. A T66 ceramic roller bearing turbo with a small exhaust housing would work well.
  5. They might just be happy to see you and want to get your attention with a wastegate wave to play. Skylines are very communal cars However, point acknowledged there is an appropriate time and place such as race track or drag strip.
  6. Not Autobacs... Factory Gear.
  7. I got them online. Deen have a website and it links to Autobacs to process the order.
  8. Another entertaining option to consider in unison with the Louisville slugger
  9. Came across a .jp magazine about tools and comparisons, there was a brand that I hadn't come across before "Deen" . Ordered some and was massively surprised; just as good quality as Koken, Snap-on and Stahlwillie at half the price.
  10. Two Pitbulls and one warning sign... Problems solved. Alpha dog eats whatever is thrown for both dogs and the second chews on thief
  11. Law is pretty specialised. You should contact Vic law society for a recommendation.
  12. Given the length of time past since they sold it, I would think the bread crumbs would be very difficult to follow. I am sure that no personal information would be given in any event. I am hoping someone on the forum can update on the car and what became of it. Also interested in the old Joviant built, Kakimoto bodykitted GTS25T too - what became of that car? Are they still about and in what condition?
  13. I am with you on this one John. We have a distinct lack of tracks around the place, if a very gracious private property owner decides to open his personal gates and let people onto it then good on him. It's after all his property and his money built the driveway to enjoy his own cars on. Neighbours always complain about change to other people's properties, but perhaps they should consider whether they would rather someone racing up their road instead. Casar Park is a great idea and hopefully it doesn't lose momentum like the Warnervale proposal of years gone by did.
  14. Does anyone know what happened to the purple R32 Macchina Magic built GTR that Unique Autosports sold years ago. It was a pretty significant car at the time.
  15. No Development Application (DA) means no project. They need to get approval of the project plan (and the rail bridge ) before anything goes ahead. I am surprised that they knocked back someone with marketing experience though - perhaps the plan is a stealth communications strategy! Ironically, such a strategy worked for the Farm driveway at Peats Ridge
  16. PM sent. membership process completedat my end. Thanks
  17. Sorting out SAU NSW membership now. Is it possible to be added to the list in place of someone that can no longer make it?
  18. I hope that the rego matches the owner. Otherwise, the poor owner is probably going to get an ear full. Best just to ring the police and let them handle it.
  19. Technically the power company owns all the land underneath the lines too, or at the very least has a right of way to repair the lines any old time - even mid race. More over the nsw govt would have to justly compensate for the land to be used. The track board could then approve to build a bridge over the rail line with the funds received and have an even more exciting track. I've seen plenty of bridges over rail lines that work well enough. That bridge at the old Oran Park was awesome too.
  20. It was a great night. Andrew's talk on the material technology and tesing that goes into Nitto components was really informative. I learnt he's a fully qualified mechanic too. Amongst a range of topics, Adam gave a great talk on how cars are strapped down onto the dyno affects the resulting figures. +1 for another night.
  21. Sydney Motorsport Park has those huge power lines (easement running across it) - No dramas there. Not to mention water supply and sewerage easements. On the bright side... proposed rail loop could be underground and mean more spectators, more money and better facilities... Here's hoping it gets built.
  22. Thanks for posting this. Could I impose for more detail about the set up that was tuned at Envy and whether it's exactly the same that is going to be tuned by JEM and some detail about motor? Valves - [oversize or standard size] Intake manifold and throttle/s [standard or oversize aftermarket] Intercooler [what size brand] Head - Ported and polished Block - [standard or grout fill] Oil pump - [brand] water pump - [brand] Turbos - -5s [what A/Rs and are they antisurge impeller housings] Compression ratio Exhaust system incl manifold Crank - [standard, work done or aftermarket] Pistons - [forged but are they teflon and/or ceramic treated] Rods - [brand] Wastegates - [standard or modified] Fuel [E85, but what set up] balancer - [standard or a/m] A/C still on? Computer [Haltech ?] Any lightening of driveline components? Was the car tuned in awd? Sorry for the million and one questions, but this will make an awesome thread for others to get reliable data from once the new dyno sheet goes up. Thanks again.
  23. Here's a figure for comparison - http://www.justenginemanagement.com/index.php/customers-cars/nissan-rb-power/44-gibson-gio-r32-gtr
  24. Peter brought this nur in for himself originally, I worked on the car back in early (better) days of Powerplay. It's great to find out where and who it went to.
