Yeah I don't think there's much doubt that the Dunlop 03G is the fastest tyre at the moment. Be backed to backed them last year with the Kuhmos and they were nearly exactly a second a kay quicker.
I need new rubber for my 32 gts-t and I'm getting O3G's.
Not happy Jan! This happened towing the car last night not long after having a flat tyre and finding the spare was a Commodore wheel, and the hubs are Falcon! GRRRRRR!!!!!!
I think someone's overtightened the bolt with a rattle gun. One had been broken for a while.
A mate's going through the rally reg thing up here at the moment with a ser 6 RX7.... apparently there'll be no reg for it until it has a CAMS cage in it, which in itself is no big deal, but it's the ongoing stuff needed thats annoying.
Jason got done driving the 34 gtr on rally reg to do the shopping, someone dobbed him in for having what looked like forklift plates on it! lol... came out and the fuzz was wanting a chat about exactly what event he was running at the local woolworths. lol
Yeah I'd love to have a run there as I've never done it. I'm not a Qld member either but can soon organise that
Johhny-O will come in his GTR, as I assume Ben will too.
Harry Harry Harry, what have you done?!?! lol
The car's sold now so can't confirm, but Dave @ Competition Fabrications did it, builds Supercars, heaps of fab for HRT, and top level rally stuff. The guy knows his stuff, Giant also had his done here.
And exhibit B. (and for the record there is absolutely no issue using this method, and it's strength has been proven time and time again - unfortunately).
Ahhhh very cool, very cool
That is an interesting point, do we know what diff ratio a 400R was equiped with? And does a Z-tune run 3.55 or another ratio Snowy?
What of your diff and gearbox alterations Snowy? Did you get those passed? (I'm assuming you're still running the 5 speed? I've lost track to be honest)
I wanna strip one to see how they're built! They got some pretty wicked sh1t goin on, plastic front strut towers/firewall etc..... I'll be super-keen to know if the chassis is repairable if crashed or if it needs a re-shell.
Too right awesome pics! I liked the one with yours in the garage - looks tough! I like seeing body colour at the B pillar for some reason? Really seems to highlight the shape
Well, TTC isn't on the draft ARC calender in the latest CAMS magazine like I expected it to be........ gone!
Those events were always going to find it increasingly difficult if they didn't make the switch to AASA, which of course their alignment with the ARC precludes.
Maybe we'll see them re-born as AASA events soon?
