  1. Hooray!!!!!! I felt dirty going into the drag thread to keep up with this build
  2. Hmm yeh, I dunno whats going on? Thats the only thing that could explain it I guess......
  3. The series 6 is very hard to fit a seat into I agree Stu! we did Aaron's last week (the one we just imported) and the window only juuuust clears the head restraint wings. Tiny little cars..... i like it
  4. Yep, one of the mechanics at MPC owns it now, pretty cool little jigger He says it's a torque steer weapon!
  5. Hey Richard, yep thats my 32 in Harry's group. Are you running one of the Z cars out there?
  6. Running the factory engine mounts I find the engine moves heaps during gearchanges, up to 2 inches or so, nothing new there. Engine/gearbox movement absorbes power and hence forward momentum. I put this cheap shit ebay damper on, and I put a zip tie on the shaft to measure the movement.... less than one millimetre! It transformed the car, it's much more spritely on the upchange now and just feels heaps tighter. Best fitty I ever spent i reckon
  7. Flocking's easy! It's taking your time with it thats the challenge.
  8. What sizes and offsets are the 18s do you know mate? And if you wouldn't mind throwing one on your bathroom scales (with a tyre on is fine) and give me a weight? Are you negotiable on these? I'll need to have TNT collect them and ship to Qld. PM me if you prefer.
  9. Apparently Blackman's at Richmond is the joint you need.... they do most of the Carrera cup dashs etc... hope that helps
  10. I can't vouch for the accuraccy of the tacho in an 18 year old car, but it's definately moving. Consider I'm entering the straight at a fair clip in fourth gear and pulling fifth about 30 yards before the tower, seems pretty accurate to me? Lakeside is quick you know
  11. MPC used to look after my car when I kept it in Melbourne. I saw a few cars there they look after that had flocked dashs. Maybe they're the flocking experts? I'll give the boys a bell and see where you can get a good flocking.
  12. Next time I'm down I can flock it good and proper for you
  13. Yeah I'm not really sure mate, I think maybe I was a little over eager slotting 5th home and lunched it, as the synchro had been a little slow heading to 5th for a while. It's a great time for your daily driver! I looked at my tacho going through the kink, 6900 in 5th, I'll have to find what that works out to be. I didn't look at it before the braking zone, little busy picking my mark lol Yeh i wasn't to stoked about that at all either, time will tell I guess. Might have to sneak out there and take a look once they've starting earthmoving work?
  14. Hey again :0 As it says, I'm looking for a set of R32 GTS-t M-spec side skirts. Black would be awesome! I can organise shipping if you can roll them up in cardboard or something. Thanks in advance. Ben.
  15. Item: RB20 computer Age: 18 years Condition: Great Price: $80 plus freight To Fit: (What car) R32 gts-t Location: Brisbane north Contact: via PM, post or text me on 0438830641 Comments: I believe it to be stock, no Mines sticker or anything on it. Item: RB20 injectors Age: 18 years Condition: excellent Price: $100 plus freight To Fit: (What car) 32 gts-t or a sporty lawnmower Location: Bris north Contact: ^^^^^^ Comments: I've upgraded to GTR injectors therefore no need for these. They were cleaned and serviced when I bought the car about 4 months ago, so they've heaps of life in them yet.
  16. Item: Standard GTR injectors Age: out of r32 I think? Condition: Great Price: $350 delivered anywhere in Oz To Fit: (What car) Many applications Location: Brisbane north Contact: Ben via PM, post here or text 0438 830 641 Comments: I recently purchased these for my gts-t but postage took so long I was forced to buy another set. They were sold to me by a good trader and he says they were cleaned and serviced and that appears to be true. Excellent upgrade for a gts-t or a bunch of other things.
  17. Heya guys. As it says, I'm chasing a fibreglass copy of the 32 GTR front bar to suit my gts-t. Even a couple if you have them, might as well put a spare aside. Will pay a little more for a black one! I'm is Brisbane but if you can pack it safely I can have TNT collect it. Cheers, Ben.
  18. Ahhh, whats a baseline time? I didn't have the stereo pumpin if that's what you mean? I'm putting the better time down to my running a massive hangover and 3 hours sleep, witness the Dutton Sandown effort for prior evidence of that , although, even though I was very "relaxed" in the car, I failed to stay absolutely flat out under Dunlop bridge :[ There's been no change to the car save for a tune which has made it a little more linear in it's power delivery, same old bald and blued Dunlop 02G's, no alignment or setup changes yet. I can't wait to throw your green bits in it, but figured there wasn't much point rushing and changing it until I can directly compare it on the same track, which means either visiting Morgan Park for a weekend or waiting until Lakeside opens again. Giant and I will give it a good alignment and corner wieght as soon as we both have time, and will likely setup your green hornets for installation at the same time.
  19. New PB at Lakeside for me, 62.85 All the vehicle specs remain.
  20. Well done again Harry on some outstanding times in your Supra I'm just glad I have a new PB of 62.85, not so stoked about popping my gearbox though
  21. One can only hope the lil Lewi falls over in the finale! My my that would be a fantastic post race interview On a side note, how suckfull would it be if Mosley gets his control engine/box idea passed...... can you say, "A1 GP"?
  22. Yeah he got a drive through There was another corner in the same race where he took a very "unique" line using all the GTR's traction...... great stuff
  23. I'll do you a favour and give ya 200 bucks for it!
  24. Still got the engine/gearbox mate?
  25. Still got it mate? PM me
