  1. Ahh yes, I recall coming around a right hander to find that one on it's lid after it punted an earth bank hard! Mt Black stage I think it was, day 5, Targa 2006 from memory? Matt used to run a really nice 993 Turbo until it was stolen .... not much luck the boy....
  2. http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=AsmTwm-glRU&...feature=related ^^^ How cool is it Skaife getting from 5th to 3rd before the first corner..... ON THE GRASS! LOL..... gee I miss those Group A days, three or four different brands of cars in the top 5.....
  3. lol.. yeah I kinda do, but just advertised my bike because I just don't ride it enough. Don't want a bike do ya? lolol
  4. i'll buy it!
  5. lol... I don't know how many 1000 lb Black Marlin you can catch from the end of the pier, but I get the drift mate
  6. Some legend has recently uploaded all the 1991 Group A rounds...... not sure if this is a re post, thanks to the man involved though! http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=8gNcOoO3iZU&...feature=related
  7. The factory clutches should last over 100,000 klm with the car in factory spec. As they're wet clutches (bathed in oil) I see no reason to doubt it. Similar wet clutch technology has been used with virtually no issues on various machinery for tens of thousands of hours for many years. It sure wouldn't stop me from purchasing one, and regardless, by the time something needs replacing the aftermarket will have caught well up.
  8. Not a chance in hell is that right champ.
  9. Exactly right Baron, I don't reckon the sky is falling just yet.
  10. You're a sick, sick man Harry!
  11. I've seen pics of it on facebook, looks like alot of fun!
  12. How good is Jesus!
  13. Yep, poor effort indeed. I knew he was trouble as soon as he left the pit lane like a juvenile Gemini driver with instant rain-induced horsepower.
  14. It was pretty sketchy and we only got one run each. They called it at midday and we get to go back this sunday
  15. So, out with it.... what'll it be? And cheers for the vote of confidence "mate".
  16. Wow! That's an exceptional R33! Amazing rating considering it's age hey Any idea what that went for Baron? Gotta be rare as hen's teeth.
  17. The biggest issue with running a z-tune rep would be ensuring the aftermarket 'glass guards are at least 3mm thick. Am I right Stuart? That would make it too hard to do I reckon? hehe
  18. Woke up this morning and I reckon it's finally sunk in that I was lucky enough to be invited by Russel Newman to navigate for him in last weeks Tasmanian Tarmac Challenge in his new Hi Octane/ACL R35 GTR. Wow, what an outstanding car, well peddled by Russ! Once a good road rally tyre is available for these cars, I reckon they'll be THE vehicle to have for tarmac rallies. Tony Quinn who has one in NZ totally agrees, and he's a man of considerable Porsche experience and is a great driver. Just wanted to vent, the 35 aint over-hyped..... it IS tha shit!!!
  19. The 34's are ok Roy, but I do wear transitional lenses while driving. PS.... just got your suspension, looks GREAT!!!!
  20. lol.... I'm looking at the skies this morning and wondering what tomorrow will bring! I'm hoping to get one more day out of my old 02G hards that have actually started to blue. They're virtually bald too which could make things, lets say, interesting
  21. With any luck the yanks will have a horrible run with their 35's and Nissan will get the shits and withdraw them from sale there which of course means more allocated to us!
  22. I've been a bit crook these last coupla days and have been knocking out heaps of ZZZZ's....... anyone care to update me? Cage looks tops Andrew!
  23. Def saturday this time, they rescheduled it from a sunday later in the month. By re-profiling I mean they are closing the track to alter some of the corners to allow more runoff and generally making it safer.
