Modified RWD?? 5: A link to where I can veiw car and personal regulations (CAMS site im guessing) thanks heaps for any help. Cant wait to display my TEAM WANG sticker proudly!! 4. Every LED is working. I would be using the company "Pack and Send" (pack 'n' send, pack an send?? not sure on the middle word variant?)

  8. this was how my clutch looked when i pulled it out on the weekend. was on the rivets...
  9. I've been wanting to put a Thermo fan set-up on my R33 for sometime now and was just wondering what people out there had already done an what works best? Single or Twin? What size fan/s? How have you mounted it? What sort of switch set-up has been used? thermo controlled or switch? What brand stuff has been used? what'd it cost? feel free to post up pictures too, a picture says a thousand words!! cheers
  10. Sure....cost $100.....and comes with a FREE WING!!!.....hehe nah sorry not willing to seperate, pretty hard to sell the wing if it aint got the LED. Have had heaps of the same enquiry though....

Minor marks but would be very picky to notice them. Would prefer pick-up with cash payment. But if need be can organise frieght at buyers cost. $100 Contact Details: Berin [email protected] 0417546384 can email pics if needed. Cheers
  12. do you have you original reciept for it? why are you selling it? I'm looking into buying a genuine C's short shifter from Japan, but for the right price i'd be happier to buy one here, save waiting. PM me your lowest price, i could pick up, or meet you in CBD?
  13. i'll be sure to look into it, I dont mind the car being off the road for a bit longer, so long as i get what I want an at a decent price!! still keeping my options open
  14. the one Jim Berry can make is also a single full faced clutch, using a better friction material of some sort and much stronger diaphram. From what he tells me, it can handle 550hp+ and a fair amount of abuse. he quoted me $1100 for this brand new clutch, delivered from QLD to my door (VIC). the only thing it doesnt have is the light flywheel, which from what im told on Skylines makes gear changes rough an the car a bit harder to get off the line hard?
  15. yeah he spoke to me for quite some time!! certainly a world of knowledge. He said he may be able to use my old excedy button clutch depending on what parts it had (some of the older ones have same diaphrams an stuff as Nismo aparantly, but the new ones he cant use?) so next weekend i'm pulling out the g/box & clutch to see if I can use it or not. hopefully it'll be all back together an like new before christmas. Not looking forward to pulling the clutch out on the ground of my garage, shoulfnt take too long though
  16. so you have the "full monty" single plate set-up? whats it like to drive? does it cope well under abuse (dragging, track work, or burnouts etc...). what sort of power an torque are you putting through it?
  17. Spoke to Jim Berry today.....now theres a guy who knows a lot about clutches!! Gave some good advice, will probably look at getting a single plate set-up from him, was told it can hold huge hp, an handle clutch abuse (ie: drag strip, circuit racing etc). Would advise anyone looking into clutches to give him a call thats for sure. Aparrantly i may even be able to use some components from my heavy duty clutch an same a bit of $$$, which is always good. Ash: Is the single plate set-up what you were running in your 31? if so, what was the pedal like? an how did it look when you pulled it out for your engine transplant? was it in there for long?
  18. yeah that'd be good, wont be doing anything till i hear back from Jim Berry an a few other things anyway. probably wont bother buying until after the christmas madness, wouldnt want it lost in the post (if coming from overseas).
  19. think i'll steer clear from carbon then, out of my wallets reach, nothin at all on the ebay front either still waiting to see what price nengun.com can do a OS GIKEN twin plate for? Still waiting to hear back for Jim Berry. The ORC alloy twin plate new for $1670 delivered is looking pretty good though, 500ps capable, maintains good usable pedal for street/track use, used by Top Secret an in the GT500 racing (plus heaps more) so i'm assuming there great quality. can anyone tell me if theres any mayjor difference between the ORC 559 an 709 series twin plates? apart from the obvious (ones 550ps rating an the others 700ps). Theres only like $15 difference between the two. Even though i'll be lucky to ever have 550ps....would i be better to get the 700ps?? or would it be much harder to drive with?
  20. starngely enough I never thought of ebay, will have a look. I'd prefer a new clutch to a secondhand one.
  21. I've got the Spec R full system on my 33, Awsome build quality, great system, It's got very little restriction, all mufflers are straight through an free flowing. it fitted perfectly out of the box. as for noise, without the silencer in it drones like an old V8 ute sitting on about 100km/h and a little around 60km/h, an on the scale of aftermarket exhausts, is pretty loud. I very rarely take the silencer out unless i plan a dyno tune, SAU cruise, trip down the coast, track days in future etc... having said all that, I'm 100% happy with it, wouldnt change it for anything else. If you want the quality but are concerned about noise levels, go for the Spec V, there a bit quieter, but still have a good Blitz note, 2 of my mates opted for the V over the R. My main objective was performance thats all. Cheers
  22. also...anyone know thw advantages of Carbon cluthes? an if there worth it?
