  3. I sold my S2 wing for $100 just 2 days ago. Everyone seems to want the LED's out of em, so if I were you, I'd re-post it as working S2 spoiler LED for $80...you'll get heaps of responses. then give them the option of a free wing or not... good luck with the sale
  4. looking for a cheap HICAS lock bar for my R33 gts-t. Preping the car for track work and really dont want the 4 wheel steering. Berin 0471 546 384 [email protected] Geelong, Victoria
  5. My old type M wing is up for sale. It's in good condition, its white, has working LED brake light $100 contact me (Berin) on: 0417546384 or [email protected] or reply here Item is located in Geelong, Vic. prefer pick-up, but can organise postage at buyers cost. I believe the cost of posting it interstate is aroung the same price of the wing itself? an before you ask....yes I will seperate the led....it will cost $100+postage and you can choose if you want a free type M wing with it or not
  6. damn them all....damn them all to hell...
  7. yeah thats the photo, that was about a year after being done from memory
  8. yeah I guess thats fair enough, I still think there a little overpriced. Seeing some people advertising them for more than $1500. I think round the $1000 is more around what there 'actually' worth, but as mentioned, only takes a few buyers to pay the higher prices.....an whats the prices go up an up. hopefully, being theres not a great deal of drifting around in Vic for the next 12months or more, the prices of things like this will drop with less demand.
  9. one of my best mates just recently had to fix the gearbox in his series 1 R33 gts-t. I rang around everywhere looking for a secondhand box to replace his stuffed one. why are people asking stupid prices for secondhand box's?? I mean really $1500 is the average price of a secondhand box, to which no-one can actually asure you of its condition 100%. so after many phone calls, a phone call was made that put him onto competition gearbox's (i think that was the name) in Melbourne, who rebulit his gearbox for only $1400. This gearbox that was rebuilt, couldnt even select first or second gear. Both those gears were completely replaced, hubs a all, aswell as 4th gear hub too. "one of the worst 33 box's he's seen" he was told. So if a gearbox in such poor condition can be rebuilt at a cheper price than a secondhand item, surely this shows people are putting too much value on a 33 box (series 1 or 2...there the same). the average rebuild for a crunching gear or something would be even less dollars i'd imagine. so anyone looking round at a secondhand box as the cheaper option to fixing your current one, definatly look into rebuilding, as it will probably be cheaper, an you can be sure of its actual condition afterwards. all of a sudden, just because theres more r33's around, the price of there parts are all jacked up...dont seem fair...but thats life i guess, ultimatly you choose wheather you pay the high prices or not. (note: we replaced the gearbox with the car up on jack stands in a garage, although it can be done....looking back I would have rathered payed $100-$150 to have someone else do it....lol) cheers
  10. the wheels on my 33 are powdercoated (dark grey), did it about 2 years ago, theres 1 or 2 very small chips on them since then.....its much harder to chip or scratch powdercoating (verses painted). it cost me $60 per rim then, I'd imagine it'd be more like $80 per rim these days? (we have tyre fitting equiptment at work so the cost of strip & fitting the tyres, and balances afterwards to me was ZERO) I'm happy with the finish of the wheels, i didnt get them clear coated, but you can if you want a more glossy finish, think that was like $20extra per rim?? have a look in my member gallery if ya wanna see how my wheels look cheers
  11. you sure they fit 33 gts-t? i've tried 45 offset an they hit the rea caliper. I'd be intersted, but want to be definate they will fit my gts-t, and fit well (ie: not sit in from or out from the guards etc)
  12. quik note: GTR coilovers WONT FIT a gts-t or gt. the rear bottom mounts are completely different.
  13. unfortunatly I lost all my gem photo's from 05' due to computer failure....those who were there will know what I'm talkin about. Everyone always had a ball, highly recomend it!!

  16. does anyone have any idea if a r33gtr gear box would bolt straight in to a r33 gtst once the transfer case is removed
  17. any idea if the 33GTR gearbox will bolt into a 33-t? Know someone in dire need of a gearbox. Also, any idea of cost freighting it to Geelong Vic, 3220? if it fits and can do a good price including frieght, ring Kris on 0421579800 an we'll sort out the finer details thanks
  18. Yellow?
  19. blues
  20. the champain colour I was talking about Damn Hot!!
  21. I reckon the Champain colour of the NUR spec 34's would look pretty hot (light gold-almost silver)? maybe the same mustang red as Al's R33? or a very light (almost silver) metallic lime sort of colour...? I'll look around for some colours to post so you know what I'm on about.
  22. View from my room Hanging out in the arvo, downing the first beers Rear View of Lineup Few 33's All my other photo's are pretty much of what everone else has taken. Had an awsome time as per usual, thanks again to everone that both organised and participated. Had a BALL!
  23. Awsome 2 day event. Thanks to all who organised everything. Sat night was great to socialise with the SAU crew, got to know even more members. First SAU cruise ever without a wrong turn, or getting lost....but the second day did have the usual unexpected gravel road due to roadworks. I must apologise to those who had to go through Geelong on the Sunday, I didnt realise it would be SO BAD. Could have taken you an alternate route, but didnt want people getting lost through traffic lights etc etc.....Next year i'll lead everone through Geelong a better way I promise:). I have a few pics that I'll post up as soon as I can. once again, great cruise......cant wait till next year!!
  24. I think I'm selling this car for too cheap as is....so does everyone I know when I tell them what price I'm selling it for.... so no sorry, the $20,000 is the firm lowest price. And a bargan at that. as mentioned in a few posts up, it'll have coilovers & carbon bonnet & few other goodies extra, provided once paid for I can keep the car for for a few days to put the goodies in. cheers
