  1. Before my hi-flow, I ran my stock turbo at 1BAR (14.7psi) for 2 years of daily driving, only made 175kw though. When I pulled it off it was still in good nick, with very minimal shaft play.
  2. what kind of RPM was it seeing full boost on the RB20?? would the RB20 manifold bolt up to RB25?
  3. I wasnt given any receipt, I wasnt given anything at all
  4. how late can you sign up for this? I havent recieved any info from SAU or CAMS regarding my licence i signed up for at the drift day last weekend, so dunno my CAMS LIC#, also have 2 things to do to my car to make it track ready, and dont wanna pay an then not be able to run due to not passing scrutineering. if I'm not at this one, i'll be at the next one. Best I do DT first go too, as havent done a track day on 4 wheels before.
  5. wish I had a G meter...thats cool as! my limiter is set at 7200rpm...just thought i add my 2cents
  6. I used 1/4 tank at the drift day....which was a whole 30km of sideways action according to my odometer
  7. some great photo's there Wokka, nice work. I really fried my rear tyres during this day, delaminating them on the final wet event, I think that was mainly due to that surface being a fair bit rougher than the big skidpan. I was in the 3rd group to go on the wet event an I thought it was still wet enough, but I guess my tyres proved otherwise. I was giving them a fairly hard time, I expected I would though thats why I used a different pair of rims on the day so I didnt feel I had to hold back. I cant wait for the next event, this day was well organised, well structured, had great events for beginners and all the knowledge from the insructors anyone could need. HUGE THANKS to all involved, organisers, instructors & participants, everyone made it a great day!!
  8. hey guys im good mates wit him the car has been sold and rims r gone
  9. was an awesome day had an absoulute blast. a big congrats to the organise it was mint.
  10. I was about to say the same thing, you can bring it in without changes as a personal import. Only hard part is knowing an Australian citizen thats lived in Japan for 3 years or more to send it back here as there own car. Cheers
  11. lucky more like it....
  12. Installed my lock bar today, went in pretty easy, very happy with it, doing the wheel alignment tomorrow morning. thanks geoff, great product and from seeing 8 pages to this thread...plenty of support to anyone having troubles. I'll be using my car for the drift training day this weekend so should make it easier to do massive dori dori circles!!! cheers
  13. Yeah I wasn't gonna mail it off, somehow I dont think i'll get it back before Sat . I just printed off all the D4D event plans aswel as the cams LS2 application, filling it out now thats all, I've just put my credit(debit) card details in the "payment" section so I dont have to worry about forgeting the $85. Installing my HICAS lock bar tomorrow an doing a 4 wheel alignment, also putting 215/55/R17 tyres on some BA XR6 rims for the rear. Gonna bring up my usual wheels aswel just to be on the safe side . gonna have some awsome dori dori fun !! I've never done anything like it so I'm going in clueless Thanks for the replies, think I'll just put N/A as I dont really have any medical history to look up or use as reference if I'm in the unfortunate situation where that info would be required.
  14. filling out my CAMS Level 2S application form and I'm unsure what I should put for this question: 3.2 What is your regular doctor's name and address? what if I dont have a regular doctor? only thing I ever see one for bad cold symptoms an I go to bulk billing places where I see a different doctor every time.... only seroius thing i've ever dont to myself was a deep cut to my hand at work earlier this year requiring 4 stitches from the workcare doctor. i've asked this question around the forum a few times in various threads with no answer. can I just put N/A, or should I just put down the name of the doctor that gave me stitches earlier this year? your help is much appretiated! cheers Berin
  15. As i've mentioned i'm impressed with the car, I think holden have come a long way an the new VE was a big step in the right direction. Think about how far behind in technology a VN como was in comparison to a R32, or a VP compared to a R33....they were miles behind. Finally there coming up to scratch with the rest of the world, an good on em. I dont particularly want one, when I need a family car, i'll look into one.
  16. do you have any pics?
  17. This must be out of a non-turbo?? its missing the boost guage?
  18. See you all Friday night at the SHELL SERVO.
  19. cant wait to see the V8 supercar versons that'll be gridding up for round 1 next year....
  20. I went to the release of these today at the Melbourne Convention Centre...I must say that all the spy photo's i'd seen around the place, I didnt think they were going to be a very good thing. The photo's certainly dont do them justice! I was impressed. I'm glad holden have finally put a bit of thought an technology into their cars. Yes everyone can see influences in the car from BA falcons, Mitsubishi 380, Mazda 6 and the Opel Astra, but i'd definatly has its own look, especially with the pumped front an rear guards....these cars could fit 24inch rims in there with ease!! I give em thumbs up!! wait till you see one in person an see what I mean Cheers
  21. very nice looking 32 you've got there, congrats, hope everything goes smoothly for ya! see you on a SAU cruise Cheers
  22. brand? offsets? PRICE??
  23. Ive done it on my 33-t, I certainly feel your joy in doing it, its a fair accomplishment as it is a fair bastard of a job. good work
  24. wish it wasnt so far from Geelong.....I'd so be there if it was, reckon it'll be a top night. Any chance of someone setting up a tripod & video in the back corner for those of us that'd like to be there but cant to view later??
