  1. they'll fit, but your stock calipers wont fit over them as there a larger diameter, need an adapter to move your stock caliper out to use GTR rotors. also if the pads are for brembos then they wont fit gts-t either.
  2. we use National windscreens through work too (although in Geelong), they seem to be good, an well priced. expect around $200 as mentioned I'd say

It was actually an R31 skyline, I saw it close up, the blue neons wern't the best part (although full quality obviously).....it was the chrome "TRY ME" stickers on the front 1/4 panels (between the door & wheel arch)...

First time deca driver....certainly wont be my last. I had a wicked time! Thanks to all organisers & people that helped out running the day! the night was good fun too Taking your car for a thrash around DECA for the day: $70 Massive 1.4lt cocktails at Taco Bills: $31.50 each Entry to local hick Yahoo bar: $10 ( include 2 free drinks ) Seeing Nige putting the guy that was in the back seat of a daewoo trying to impress the three other chicks in there with him in KFC drive-thru, back in his box......PRICELESS
  6. I've been looking into the conversion for the gts-t to run bigger gtr rotors but still retain the standard calipers. there for sale at uniquie auto sports as a kit including discs for $750. But they will not seperate the adapters for sale seperatly. does anyone know where else I can get these from? or what they'd be worth? I can get the rotors cheaper than UAS would sell them to me for thats all (trade price). any ifo greatly appretiated, cheers Berin
  7. Hope you had a wiked day AL! Happy Birthday. See ya Friday night for a few quiet beers
  8. Get a brake fluid flush done with some good quality brake fluid. Dont have to replace the lines, but get better brake feel with braided lines.
  9. yeah I might have to try one on for size on Friday night, any S left? I may be an M though?
  10. 1.) How much power does your car make? around 250kw 2.) How much boost pressure do you run? 9psi on low 18psi on high 3.) What turbo? Hi-flow (unsure of specs) 4.) How big (in diameter) are your intercooler pipes? 2.5inch-3inch? full HKS cooler kit 5.) What do you seen if you take the plum back hose off and free rev the engine from the engine bay? Does the bov open and vent? Yes, even went for a drive like it, no reall flutter (did occassionally flutter just once) 6.) Have you tried to run a new length of hose Straight from bov to turbo intake pipe? nope, that'd be a long bit of hose, would have to buy a length of silicon tube or something to do that, an that stuff aint real cheap. but I see your point
  11. it is second hand, might be worn out? doubt it, but guess its possible
  12. they have stiffer springs, the outlet pipe is bigger diameter an so is the diameter of the BOV inlet hole (part that bolts to pipe) an if you sit them side by side...they dont look the same (RB20/25 BOV's made by Mitsubishi, GTR BOV's Made by nissan)
  13. well yes, it bolts straight up, used the top radiator hose from Telstar TX5 (cut a small straight section from it) to plumback to standard pipe (as the GTR outlet is a bigger diameter). using the old pipe I cut about a 3cm lenght of it off an put it in the other end of the telstar rad pipe as a reducer onto the stock plumback steel pipe. but I still have the flutter , an now if my timing of getting my foot off the accelerator when clutch goes in isnt perfect, I get a touch of VL turbo full sik dose pipe noise. strange...I thought the GTR bov would be better than the standard item...its pretty much the same. luckily it only cost me $40 or id be pretty un-impressed, but now I guess i do get to add "GTR BOV" to the modifcation list of my car....lol
  14. sadly doesn't look like it, dampen adjustable only.
  15. your tyre will have a max pressure written on it somewhere, so long as you dont go over that your ok. But generally I run 35psi an the car handle's well! In my daily driver VL como I run 40psi (has 17's) an it seems to ride/handle fine too, in wet an dry.
  16. do not take anything hotter than a hair dryer to your shocks, an i cant see that really doing much good. as seen on most shock absorbers is a warning "DO NOT HEAT".... some how get more leverage on your C spanners, slide a pipe or something over it? hammer an screwdriver may help jar it, but be careful not to damage the ring. only other suggestion is use something like RP7/CRC/WD40 etc.. leave it for 5mins an come back an give it another go.
  17. cant say i've named my car, or really given it gender. its "the skyline"...lol but going by its characteristics, costs a lot to maintain...even more to modify , an I look good in it ....must be female
  18. I've got the 2 XR6 rims of a mates that i used for the D4D day (in pic below). but being in Geelong makes it a bit hard for me to get em to ya, an i'd have ta take em into work an strip the tyres off em that are on there now.

    New To The Club

Welcome, very clean looking 33 you've got there!, hope to see you at the many up coming SAU-Vic events cheers Berin
  20. the fronts do, the rears dont...rears have different lower mounts. so as GTRgeoff said. NO
  21. best to take a picture an post it up if you want a definate answer on what the part is...there's lots of bushes an parts in there that this could be? My guess would be the tie-rod end (where steering rack connects to wheel hub) but could be a control arm bush, a caster rod bush, link pin bushes, ball joint?? to hard to say with a fairly vaige description.
  22. if theres thread on the shock benieth the spring then yeah...height adjustable too!! just need some C spanners to turn the base an change the height....or you could be a bit agricultural with em an use a hammer an big screw driver , but wouldnt recomend it. cheers
  23. yeah I checked em out, it'd cost me $253.81 to get Ferodo DS2500 pads landed to me from the US. but I can get em from Unique Auto Sports for $245 an probably $10 freight...so that way would be easier for virtually no cost difference.
  24. yeah but they'd be very stretched. proper size for a 9" rim is 255 or 265. I've had 235 on my 9" rims with no dramas before, dont think i'd try any less than that though
