  1. Happy birthday Scott! Have a big an wiked weekend mate
  2. yep, i'll be there
  3. I have TEIN HA's...an I love em
  4. yeah I've seen em on a few 34T's & 4drs, 33's, 32's an 31's
  5. they may not have been bedded in properly? if there a couple of days old you cant really re-bed them in unless you pull the pads out an rough em up an start over... personally id just ride the brakes for 4-5secs at about 60 km/h, an get some heat into em, seems to work whenever mine start becoming noisey an givin me the sh!ts
  6. mmmmmmmmmm dish....I want dish...pitty my bank account doesnt agree
  7. well one of the reasons I was shyin away from the Bendix Ultimates is due to there reputation for silly amounts of brake dust, I hate cleaning my BBS mesh mags, pain in the arse! I intend on using the car for track days, so the performance of the pad is important too, but not sure i'd pay the extra $110 to get 2500 series if the 2000 pads perform around the same.
  8. do you have the ferodo formula's on your car? have you ever done any track days with em? an if you dont mind me asking, what did you pay for em?
  9. good on ya Al, whateva they are...i dun wan em
  10. I was looking into the Ferodo Formula (AS2000) brake bads and was wondering if anyone had used em before? From what Ferodo say there great for street driving aswell as sprint days at the track an club sport events. They say 650degrees max temp. I know everyone loves the 2500 series Ferodo pads, but has anyone used the 2000 series (formula)? Price on 2500 is around $250 from most places, I can get the formula series pads for $140 so I was going to give them a go an was wondering if antone else had tried em? No I dont want RB74's or Bendix Ultimates cheers
  11. i think my front lip is round 90mm-100mm clearance, no idea what centre or wheel to arch is? mine sits on full adjustable TEIN HA's, any lower than it sits now an its just damn annoying, can't go in driveways, through drive through etc....I can bearly do it now at the height it is. King Springs use centre of rim to guard measurements to rate there springs, just rim em up an state you want 355mm front an 345mm rear, they'll have something pretty close, give you the part number, then just go into your local repco tell em the part numbers an order em
  12. 1 hour which way out of melb? and what width's are they?
  13. HAPPY BIRTHDAY PETE!! wish I could make it...but sadly...no have a great night!!
  14. yeah...still gotta find out about splitting the rims
  15. might seem like a stupid question, but would paint stripper remove powdercoating? or is it a bit tougher than that?
  16. I hace 2 piece forged BBS rims that a fair while ago now I had powdercoated gunmetal grey, I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could get the rims taken apart an later re-assembled correctly so I can get the outer rim/lip sandblasted and polished back to silver whilst leaving the centres grey? also probably need to replace all the bolts with new shiney ones any help greatly appretiated Cheers Berin
  17. any pics? what model is it? colour? fixed back or recliner? any rails? whats your location?
  18. dont do it...i like white rims on white 33's...but only 5-6 spoke type, personally I think those wheels (cheeta) will look tacky if powdercoated white on a white car. wrong style rims for white. just my 2 cents....each to there own. so long as everytime you walk back to your car you like the way it looks....who cares what we all think
  19. I should be able to make this one, havent come along for a while... see you all there
  20. not sure if your aware, but theres another set on here for sale for $1200 inc brand new tyres (allblitz)....bolt straight on to skylines (no spacers required). there 17x8 an 17x9 with black centres. good luck with your sale, but not to sure many people will pay such a high price for 17's. Do you have any photo's, will usually help your sale.
  21. no-one wants good quality cheap tyres? correct size for commodores, falcons, late magna's & camry's, R31 skylines...
  22. money was sent through last night
  23. I'm happy to believe the figure, provided theres some more info given and a picture of the dyno graph..... but strange that there's only been the 1 first post from him...
  24. any idea what diameter? an what sort of length hose am I in need of? any pics of your set-up (how you've changed the hose)? glad to hear it'll just bolt on. everyone keeps saying turbo surge......the flutter is only when changing gear...ie not on boost...ie when the BOV opens an due to not strong enough spring in there its bouncing.....fastly open/closing.....fluttering.....so how can this be a turbo problem?
