  1. or try theses guys... www.nismo.com.au they have great quality stuff and ship to the states. my personal opinion is to stick to DBA rotors, 4000series if you want good street aswel as track performance. could also try www.nengun.com an get them sent to you straight from Japan. plenty of good brands an great prices. cheers Berin
  2. as mentioned, best to leave that to a tuner, theres a fair few different variants that come into play from car to car so its a bit hard to say what your particular car is going to be safe with....
  3. I'd love it.....damn good buy at that price!!.....problem is I aint got any spare cash right now....typical. good luck with the sale, someone should snap this up quickly
  4. I plan to come up, might have a few non "paid" member friends in skylines along too? all rides on weather I fell like having a big night that Sat night or not.. but should be an aswome site, probably one of the biggest skyline gatherings in oz i reckon?
  5. thats for sure....I'm not goin first or last... I forgot I still have to pay that too soon
  6. I'd be keen on a Ensuite room for cheap accomodation for me and a mate, I'm trying to see if anyone else wants a bed for the night in the same room to make it even cheaper again.
  7. you'd feel so damn stupid standing there afterwards looking at your up turned GTR that you've managed to crash whilst not even driving it.... poor bastard
  8. might just come on the cruise up for a look, i'll be forking out a fair bit of dough just the weekend before for entry & cams licence an accomodation for the drift day at deca.
  9. will we be coming back the same day? are there any entry costs involved? how long is the one way trip to Shep? Is this a members only cruise up? or can any skyline driver tag along? I'm interested, but im doing the D4D thing an not sure if i can get that many weekends off in a month.
  10. there similar to 400R ones...but with more square edges. there actually JUN style skirts. look on Nismo.com.au in 33 gts-t exterior parts, first blue 33 i believe....if you wanna see what they'd look like on a car.
  11. Thanks all, had an average day at work, but the cruise will fix all that!! celebrating properly down here in Geelong tomorrow night if anyone interested? cheers everyone
  12. yeah I just saw that....still looks awsome!! funny skit too!....lol:D
  13. Thanks, I'm damn happy with it. It was made my customcarbon in Virginia QLD, its a customised version of one of there off the shelf ones. Top Quality!! would recomend them to anyone.
  14. Happy Birthday Sarah, hope you had a wiked day!! and even better night celebrating!!
  15. i can see my car behind teh talstar at the line.....wicked and up against the silver rexy... awsome photo's Joel, great job once again!!
  16. This was my main concern, it's not gaskets I need as the area I want to seal is the sidewalls of the hole through the bonnet, something a flat gasket wont fix. I paid near $2K for the bonnet so I really am very cautious of what I do to it. (look in my gallery if you wanna see it). Might get a small tube of epoxy and smear it round the inside of the hole, just to be on the safe side. Thanks heaps everyone. all good advise as per usual As far as the direction of the pins, I looked at as many race cars as possible to see how the pro's have em, an yeah, put em that way (same as V8 Supercars)
  17. yeah I considered silicon or silastic, but thought there might be a better stronger option? if not that'll be the way I'm going. has to be done before friday nights cruise.
  18. i'll try to get off my ass an get some pics up soonish
  19. I've installed some bonnet pins on my 33. Part of me getting towards track days venture. to do this i carefully drilled through my carbonfibre bonnet, what i need to know is what should I use the seal the edges of the hole so moisture doenst get into my bonnet. any suggestions? Berin
  20. had I known this earlier I would have come.... oh well, hope Pete's in a good enough mood to mail me mine or I could get it off him Friday night if he's on the cruise?
  21. such a long thread to read....all pretty much saying the same thing over an over again... my opinion on the matter is a few pages back. I think what sum's it up for everyone concerend about the law is that we dont like the fact that our group (import drivers) will be targeted with these new laws and that our prides an joy are at the mercy of wheather the policeman you encounter is having a good day or not. It's the grey area as to what define's "hoon" activity that makes me uneasy with the law. Police in the end are just doing there job and majority dont deserve to be labelled "cops" or other detrimental labells. certainly some do, but less than a 1/4 of the cops i've ever come accross have been not so nice to me. I respect what they do and are glad they do it, imagine if they didn't uphold the road laws. So when telling your encounters with Police, call them just that. Say he was one of the bad kinda cops an leave it at that.
  22. on one hand i think its fair enough....do the wrong thing, pay the price basically. I'm not a regular culprit of "hoon" driving so I'm not too phased. But I've certainly had my moments even if it isnt many, anyone who drives a modified car of any sort would be lying if they said 100% that they hadn't. this is the "on the other hand" part. There's no guidelines that I'm aware of as to what would cause a 48hr loss of car??? this is where i think as mentioned...this power will be abused. Doing circle work on the street, massive burnouts, dragging etc.... fair enough, get what you deserve you idiot. But i've been harrased by cops for just hearing my factory BOV, not doing anything wrong, no traction loss, no speeding, nothing..... an this cop was tring to bait me into answering back etc...by me telling me he couldnt wait to take cars of drivers like me etc etc. (i just stood still repeating "ok" after everything he said) I've lost a total of 6 points over 8 years of driving.......so drivers like what?? he just saw an "import" and automatically I was labelled "HOON". am I going to lose my car for my car having a kit, mags an a BOV all be it factory?? time will tell
  23. looks like they are multi-fit rims so they have both 114.3 x 5 stud pattern and 114.3 x 4 stud pattern so will fit 5 stud jap cars (except subarus) and fords and 4 stud jap cars (most RWD's) cheers
