  1. I've had a Jim Berry "FULL MONTY" as he calls it, set up in my R33 for 6 months now. couldnt be happier. It's not overly heavy even though it has a 3400kg clamping pressure. (my friends exceedy brass button clutch's pedal is hevier) So far its worked brilliantly!! Would highly recomend this set-up to anyone wanting a new clutch that can cope with nearly anything you throw at it. the other good point is that once it does eventually wear out, send it back to Jim an he'll remake the clutch again at a much lower price than the original purchase. mine costed me $1100 from memory. well worth it! And yeah, set aside some time when you call Jim, he does explain every detail of the pro's and con's of various clutches an common faults etc etc etc cheers Berin
  2. upgrade piston, rod and else........whats that mean? is it a built bottom end or stock? If built: what brand pistons are in it? what brand rods are in it? when was it rebuilt? who rebuilt it and where? was it crack tested? balanced? or bluprinted? what sort of new bearings were used? do you have the receipts for all the above? if stock: how many kms have the engine done? and where are you located? cheers
  3. Hi Roy, would you consider a trade for the same size street tyres (235/45/R17) plus small cash adjustment? i've got a full set of 80% plus tread Bridgestone RE030 Potenza's I could trade ya? (RE030's are priced over $300 each new) just thought id ask cheers

  5. yeah at the heathcote SAU drag day I tried on standard 32psi....useless. droped em down to 20psi and it was heaps better. still got heaps of wheelspin. but better...
  6. very nice rims indeed....id take em if I had the cash.... good luck with the sale!!
  7. the front nismo rims cant be 9inch wide....they have nearly no dish compared to the rear?? if they were all the same width with same offsets then the depth of the rim dish would be the same front an rear. id guess the fronts are 8 inch wide, may have different offsets to the rear?? either way, good price for nismo's with good tread. good luck
  8. got any pics? are they the ones that look all black until its turned on?(black faced with white dials?) the control unit is needed for delfi guage's, and can be used for up to 6 different guages from memory?
  9. my offer.....$500 plus postage.....just to get the ball rollin

  18. R33gtst ET: 13.49 MPH: 113.4 60' 2.3 BP Ultimate fuel BFGoodridge normal street tyres, 255/40/17 @ 20psi Power: 235kw, 610Nm Track: Heathcote Park Date: 6/5/06
  19. another vote for heathcote! was a great atmosphere, good for learners/ first timers, bit more relaxed so you dont feel stupid about doing a bad time or making mistakes...like my 22 sec first run...lol I should have entered in the most improved class.. from a 22.4 to a 13.4....
  20. i'll definatly be organising some slicks next time....cause now ive got the need.....the need for speed :
  21. should organise a SAU-VIC drag day later on in the year...late spring/early summer....get some good track temps, but not too hot actual temps (dont want to have overheating issues ontop of gearbox troubles) I also recorded my 2 best times after i handed in my times to ash....but I'm pretty sure pete has quickest RWD ET with his 12.8 for sure, my quickest was still 0.6 over that. Definatly agree that the guy operating the tree wasn't very consistant with the time delay between staging and setting the tree going, I was revving for quite a while there on a few occasions, then other times I staged an less than a second after, the lights started falling....
  22. mines about 235kw/610Nm....so no, not quite standard slicks an softer rear suspension should see better times... but yeah...traction was a big issue in second gear for me...
  23. His name was Craig....not sure of his username though. thought it was timing belt trouble...he had it changed only 2000km ago.
