are there spacers for the rear? I tried a set of a mates 18inch rims on my 33gts-t that were the same widths except ALL the offsets were +45 and the rear rims hit my caliper?? would have only needed 2-3mm slip on spacer to fix....but just asking. Or maybe the spoke shape is different enough to clear the rear calipers?

I agree with whats being said....i for one will hopefully be competeing soon, and due to the power I'm making i'll be in the modified class. But I cant afford R compound tyres that are allowed in this class....which already puts me 1-2secs a lap behind, I also cant afford big brake conversions so i'll be braking earlier, slowing my lap times down again....yadda yadda yadda boo hoo But really I just wanna have fun in my car, so I'm not overly concerned , but obviously I see your point. On the other side of the fence, that sounds like a very technical points system that would take a lot of time and effort to put together and constantly monitor, which for a club level champoinship is a big ask for someone to look after I think. nice an simple is the way to keep it I think, an just have fun on the track my 2 cents B)

I've had mine for over 4 years now, an until warbys very neat 33 started being spotted over the last 6 months, mine was the only kitted white one with a carbon bonnet. my order that was paid for in dec, said to be shipped Jan 1st, then updated to JAN 22nd, then updated to FEB 12th, now updated to March 13th... dont think i'm ever going to my short shifter.... why have things available to buy on the website.....if you cant get them or dont have any supply? Shouldn't it just list as "temporarily unavailable" so people dont end up waiting 6 months to get there order? I know i would have rathered my money sitting in my bank account where i can see where it was all this time rather than (as far as I'm concerend) being uncertain if ive just blown over $300 on something that aint coming for an unknown period of time, if ever?

would be interested in the carbon radiator panel if it can be confirmed it'll fit a 33 gts-t. I thought since GTR's had longer bonnets & different latches it wouldnt??

when i replaced mine i took the top half of the plenium off...that was by far the longest part of the job. Its a bit fidely, but straight forward, should be able to get it done in less than a day, took me a few hours plus drink & food stops....lol. Take the advice above an should be pretty right, nothing more i can really add. Old injectors are quite brittle, so take care removing em if you plan to keep or sell em. I broke 2 oops.. good luck

I've ordered a C's short shifter for my 33-t on the 12th of dec. first estimate shipment: JAN 1st, then an update JAN 22nd, and is still in the "processing" status. I have sent 2 emails over the past 2 weeks (allowing the supposed 3 business days required to get a reply) AND STILL NOTHING. I've ordered through them before and been quite happy, but get conserernd when my hard earnd goes missing without explination, or even information about whats going on. I still have NO WORD or reply....what am I to think? its been nearly 2 months since my money left my back account.....wheres my parts? I understand that things may take time etc etc etc....but how hard is it to sit down, write one email saying "sorry about the unexpected deleys....etc etc i went on holidays etc etc...sorry for the interuption...etc etc...I will be working towards rectifying this ASAP" and the just forward that one email to all customers waiting on parts??? It's bad business conduct if you ask me. This kind of response would have avoided this thread. All you have to do is read the past 6 pages to realise the outcome. I will question ever using them again, as will many others obviously, either by being burnt, or being scared off by this thread. PERFECT-RUN or GREENLINE seems to be the way to go in future my 2 cents

well im looking into getting another 33-t with a GTR motor in it already, so trying to find out its origins...sounds and drives like a healthy motor. fingers crossed! any idea what the safe boost limit is on a stock RB26? I know i could do a search, but i'm lazy an cant be bothered sifting through the 15-20 pages that come up after typing in RB26....

good to hear i havent wasted money on my clutch. also a good bit of info to look at the oil cap....something most people wouldnt know or look for. there's a fair few RB26's from Japan that arrive here with "un-known" previous locations (32 or 33), just as engines alone. any other info would be greatly appretiated. or any info regarding what to watch out for, tell tale signs of a high KM engine etc...

will come with multi-spoke 17" rims (like sparco style) with same rubber as mentioned above (bridgestones with above 70% tread left)

I was just wondering if there is anyway you can tell what model GTR or what year the an RB26DETT was built by looking at the engine alone? is there anything in the engine number? or small differences btw R32, R33 & R34's? also, if i put an RB26 in a 33gts-t, will there be any clutch change needed? I have a Jim Berry brass clutch in there right now (behind my RB25). will that bolt up the a RB26? thanks for any help. Just looking into the possibility at the moment. Berin

i'll be sorting out some 17" rims for it, but if i cant find decent ones at a decent price, it'll be to stock 33 rims. Being its another 33 i'm looking at buying i want to retain my personal touches to my car that took me a long time to find. I am also currently getting a fibreglass GTR front bar for it which will be freshly painted & fitted. (keeping mine because its GENUINE GTR series 3 item) also, i know its a far stretch, but if anyone is willing to pay for the car on say a friday, and pick it up on the following monday arvo.... the car will come with a carbonfibre bonnet (single 400R type vent in centre of bonnet), HKS coilovers, nismo 300km speedo, nismo mechanical LSD & HKS cat back exhaust (all which will be removed from the other car i'll be getting, hense why i need both cars for the weekend). I'd just need the weekend to change over the parts from one car to the other. Oh and I'm a mechanic by trade, so you can be safe in knowing i know what i'm doing when replacing these items.
